September 22, 200619 yr It certainly looks interesting, but we shall see. On a different note, did anyone notice the neon Fallout-boy look-a-like? It was just before Joe entered the room where they talked about water effects.
September 23, 200619 yr Yes I noticed that... it was where they entered the male toilets. Interestingly there seemed to be the same picture next to the fe-male toilets.
December 23, 200619 yr I hadn't noticed! Sam & Max has been released and won an award from IGN! review: https://pc.ign.com/articles/739/739781p1.htmlaward: https://bestof.ign.com/2006/pc/2.html
December 23, 200619 yr Laid-Back Gaming sets out to bring us "Dropship" (some early production screens here); a turn-based action/rpg. :: From their 'splash' page:"Our games will appeal to anyone who loved games like fallout, xcom and Arcanum and wonders where all the quality titles have gone." (spotted at Blue's News)
January 9, 200719 yr An article about a turn-based online collectible-card-style game caught my eye at GameSpy. You can try the interactive tutorial and play for free with some limitations at the game's official site. :: It's interesting to see how easily references to real TB classics turn up just about everywhere..."PoxNora's game mechanics are reminiscent of those used in popular turn-based strategy combat games like Fallout and X-Com."
January 23, 200719 yr Recently released by Catnap Games (cats again ? :)) there's a small action game with an interesting premise some of you may find familiar... :: Devastro's home page (demo available) p.s.: note the red carpet treatment
March 21, 200719 yr Author The different roles in a development studio at BBC. The top 7...PR disasters
March 26, 200719 yr Author Interview with Indie RPG developers at RPG Codex. Also, for those who likes Nintendo, there's an interesting Wii Roundtable about Opera. Oh, and some amusing reports at Yahoo news.
March 27, 200719 yr Author Looks like Wii is doing well . I hope Nintendo will kick some Sony and MS butt!
March 27, 200719 yr Yes, Wii has potential to develop quite nicely. I just hope they won't stick to the same old games as I hear they do.
April 26, 200719 yr Author Nintendo makes A LOT of dough. How Nintendo kicked behinds. StarCraft 2 confirmed?
May 4, 200719 yr Star Wars physicsWell I'll be damned... Far better than Oblivion. I just wish they had anything in development for the PC. I check their off. gameforums every year or so and lately they only have console projects. While thousands of people (me included) demand new Jedi Knight game for PC...
May 4, 200719 yr Indeed - I still go back and play Jedi Academy every once in a while. It's high time they remade X-Wing and Tie Fighter as well with up to date graphics.
May 4, 200719 yr It's high time they remade X-Wing and Tie Fighter as well with up to date graphics.I loved these games but I don't think I'd play them again. The missions are completely scripted and you don't influence the story at all. In some missions you had to wait for exactly right moment before firing the topedoes in the shuttle's behind etc.. My biggest (SW) wish is a single player SW:Galaxies game. Something along the lines of Bethesda's Oblivion set in SW universe. A crossbreed of Knights of the old Republic and Jedi Knight with the addition of space flight I guess. Ehm, we need a  smiley.
May 4, 200719 yr Nice. The reactive physics with Indy on the bridge isn't new, they showcased it as part of the next Indiana Jones trailer last year, so we've already known about that since then. Looks kinda like enhanced HAVOK. But the material physics, now that's impressive. Very very impressive. But somebody has something against R2D2 replicas
