Most of the stuff actually happened, but not in the way shown, it's very simplified. But nobody does self-mythologising quite as well as the Americans. Still fun, spectacular special effects, but also a lot more inconsistencies than the two previous. The ending was not that good, and one particular part made no sense whatsoever. - It was unnecessary to use the name "The Mandarin", knowing all fans would be expecting the magic user, and make him an actor, just use a different name, this was obviously a stupid ploy to mess with fans to be more hyped about the movie.- WTF was up with Stark blowing up all his million dollar suits at the end, just to make the point that he'd not be distracted from curing Pepper? COME ON. What if ONE bad guy had survived after he blew up his suits? Just... stupid.- They're about to kill your wife, they constantly address The Avengers, so they exist and they don't even address the issue that Tony could just easily call someone from The Avengers or SHIELD to help him? He seriously has to go and try to repair one of his suits at the boy's house?- Speaking of which, how about instead of trying to do a repair on a stupid prototype, how about you get one of the gazillion suits you still have hidden under your house?- The bad guys can destroy the suits with a couple of hits, too bad you don't have a suit that fires any sort of missiles or long range weapons, right? Didn't think a boxing movie could ever appeal to me, but add robots to the mix, some father-child relationship to bond the steel with luuuve and it is good!
