Pete
The other forums are for the other games covered. Why would we want to get rid of them?
Dumb_Commander
Because the people got to these other game forums while leaving the X-Com and UFO Forums almost empty. *Starts to prepare the forum killer missiles*
Pete
Hehe, the X-COM forums are still the busiest though. The stats speak for themselves really

Slaughter
Because the people got to these other game forums while leaving the X-Com and UFO Forums almost empty.I think it's more a case of X-COM community members leaving all together than emigrating to the other games. @Locutus: It bothers me quite a bit as well! Maybe you know a little about skinning...?
Blehm 98
it all depends on what you want skinned *cough*Well, i've lived with the xcomufo color scheme for nearly 2 and a half years, so although i get confused occasionally when i think this one is xcomufo or visa versa, i really don't mind this one
Pete
I'll get round to it sooner or later
Thorondor
What's up with the front page ? I notice news from April and May seem to be in the order of the day again, somehow... *triggers the silent alarm, checks his piece, and heads for the gun rack* :) :: Edit: "There and back again - by Bilbo Baggins". Everything just got back to normal. Hiccup ?

Azrael Strife
Something is wrong with quotes, they are now showing.
Zombie
Upon my urging, Bomb Bloke fooled around with the CSS to get the code tags to work last night. It's possible the quotes got messed up in the process. - Zombie
Gimli
While we're at it, I can't get my new avatar uploaded. And it was so pretty. ... On second thought, this must be EA's doing.
Bomb Bloke
One of the forum upgrades included an option to limit how many nested quotes would be carried over when you hit the quote button. For whatever reason, it also limits the total amount of quote tags you can use in a post. Any more then three, and none of them work.
Zombie
I don't think you understand BB. What Az is saying is that there aren't any boarders around the quote box anymore. This is only true in the New Core skin and not the IPB default skin as quotes work fine there: - Zombie

Pete
I see what you mean, but it's not too close fortunately I remember back in the old days of X-COM.co.uk when we had a complete copy down to pretty much each and every individual graphic... that was a bit annoying. Bomb Bloke
It seems they made a hybrid out of a few sites. It'd just like to point out they stole an image from my UFO review.
Zombie
It'd just like to point out they stole an image from my UFO review. I guess it is flattering in some respects that they like our work enough to copy it. Too bad we didn't watermark those images with the SC logo, eh? BTW, they are hosting my EU alien stat Excel spreadsheet too. At least they give me credit. - Zombie

Pete
Deary me, I did mean "assimilating" and not "infiltrating". I guess I've really not watched enough Star Trek if I can't even remember stuff like that (and I've watched my share ). Oh well, another excuse to get my DVD's out

Azrael Strife
The UFO sections have outdated titles. We have "AM / AS / AL News" and we also have "AM / AS Support", whereas it should be "AM / AS / AL Support". Also, may I suggest dividing the support sections? make them UFO: Aftershock, UFO: Aftermath and UFO: Afterlight subforums. Also, get ready the UFO: Extraterrestrials section
