Though I don't accept 2 motives:

 

Poland accepting Germany victory and American: "Japan Y U No surrender" because:

 

A) If it wasn't for Soviet Union attacking us from the back we probably would have stopped German Blitzkrieg. Well at least we put more effort in resistance than France did.

 

B) About Japan I've heard that Japan was considering surrender before the bombs were dropped.
