Hmm....It doesn't screw up on my beast of burden. Maybe it's upside down the tempature scale? Blessed are the meek, I guess!

Oh well! On with the show!

Following up on the succes with Air Morelman I now proudly present to you....AIR WARGOT!(mind the caps).

Not one....but an entire of TWO Air Wargots!

Lets start of with the first:

A couple of shots of just how high he got. :D

Air Wargot 1 Part 1

Air Wargot 1 Part 2

Air Wargot 1 Part 3

And yes he did survive! :argh::)

Air Wargot 1 Part 4

While Air Wargot 1 was airborne Air Wargot 2 came into being. Here's some shots of that.

Air Wargot 2 Part 1

Air Wargot 2 Part 2

And my weapon of choice for the Air Wargots?

A 'mere' Spas 15 on burst fire :D:cool:

At the start of the mission my team had gotten on top of the roof and Mag is here about to give the Wargot a serious headache M60 style.

Wargotian Headache Part 1

And the outcome....He felt that one for the rest of his life.

Okay, this is a mission where I invade a Cultist territory. It turned out to be quite interesting.

First, let me introduce the assault team. There's the snipers:

sshot_2005_12_03_01_13_50.jpg

And the cleaners:

sshot_2005_12_03_01_15_36.jpg

The snipers were lined up at the highest point I could find, witch wasn't high at all. Didn't matter though, as they had a good view of most of the map. This was the situation:

-------------------------------------------
 <-C
M
 S
-------------------------------------------

So the cleaners ( C) moved towards the main building (M), while the snipers(S) watched the area towards the main building. Before my cleaners got level with the snipers, cultists started appearing. The snipers delivered death:

Didn't take the cleaners long to join the fun:

This is where it started getting interesting however. A lucky Cultist that they hadn't noticed hit Carra the sniper, and as the last cultists from the first wave was killed, David the sniper missed and hit Ana the cleaner:

At the same time the Wargots appeared:

My snipers reacted immediately:

And Betty the cleaner decided to introduce her MP5s:

The rest of the enemies went down fairly quickly, but one unusually smart (or more likely lucky) Wargot managed to "snipe" Neil the cleaner from the roof. Neil the cleaner didn't like that one bit, and decided to show the Wargot why he's called a cleaner "solo style":

Hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I did playing it :)

Okay! I've been busy 'playing the game' and haven't had that much memorable situations....

Except these:

Dodge This!

A Cultist that meet his end at the hands of Rams Plasma Shotgun while trying to do the matrix bullet dodge.

Wargotian Fire

Those dumb Wargots they try to burn me out but got burned themselves when I lured them into this ambush in their own flames.

One last look down the barrels

Yep! two lesser intelligent Wargot about to meet what comes out of the barrels of two M60's.

During my wargotian eviction duty from my territories I have noticed just how stupid or unprecise the Wargots are with their weapons. Serveral times I have seen them shoot anything else then their intended targets, blow themselves up with their explosive weapons because it his a obstacle right infront of them.

Wargots! I have this to say to you: 'Have a clear line of fire before firing!'

What's your difficulty level? I for one had a fairly hard time with the wargots, at least in the beggining.

Though it is true that in the end, my team got so ridiculously powerful that neither them nor the SG's or the Mmcl's stood a chance against me.

Call me Easy Rider! :)

I play on Easy even if easy isn't easy anymore with all the mods I've installed.

Especially with that Alien Assault mod and the Rebalance weapon mod.

It was getting tired of meeting an average of 4 enemies on one mission so I went for Alien assault and are up to my elbows in enemies even if they are dumper then a doornail.

Besides it's not how hard the game is it 's how you play the game.

Assaulted another Cultist camp tonight. The first Wargot I encountered had three snipers hit him so hard the wall behind him was breached :)

sshot_2005_12_04_22_54_04.jpg

When the Wargot armour discovered the snipers, they got a beating however:

sshot_2005_12_04_22_56_57.jpg

Cultists had a bad day

sshot_2005_12_04_22_57_42.jpg

And soon after that the Cultists had only ONE area left on earth. Guess I'll let them keep it for now...

5 days since my last posting here! So here is something epic to make up for it!

A Wargotian assault mission in TWO Parts.

We'll ease into it with this shot:

Wargots At the Gates

After starting out in the guard house my team stormed out of it put as much hot lead towards the Wargots as possible with devastating results for the Wargots.

During the firefight that there was the stuff of legends a old nemesis reared his head....Air Wargot! It decided to cling to the fence instead of trying to escaping the Earth's grip with the speed of Wargot. So the altitude record still stands.

Beware of Flying Wargots 1

Beware of Flying Wargots 2

I'll let you, dear reader, try to count the now lifeless husks of the Wargots. None of them made it past the guard house entrance.

All Clear Outside

After mopping up outside the team headed inside to do some housecleaning.

The Wargots faired just as well inside as they did outside due to the size and their lack of close quarter combat weaponry.

The Result of Serveral Staircase Ambushes.

And....

Yep! It Is Air Wargot!

Air Wargot from A Different Angle

The Wargot behind Air Wargot continued beneath Air Wargot as nothing had happend.

Wargot passing Air Wagot 1

Wargot passing Air Wargot 2

Wargot passing Air Wargot 3

But it was shortly thereafter taking a celestial dirtnap alongside the former Air Wargot.

As the housecleaning continued I encountered the rooms with the small doorways so the question is....How did the Wargots get inside them if they can't get out? Are these rooms 'Wargotian Roach Motels'?

Since I 'forgot' my grenades. I had to take them out one at the time with gunfire. With the following pictures to show some of the problems with that tactic.

Dodging A Nade

Dodging A Nade in Thermal

In the last of the 'Wargotian Roach Motels' FUBAR found 5 trapped Wargots and decided to clean out the room.

Cleaning out a room MP5 style

And the last one got up front and personal.

Up Front and Personal With a MP5

I don't believe that the end result says it all.

The End Result

I have to say that there was more than the so-called 20 killed enemies....If you count the weapons and assume that each Wargot either had a grenade launcher or plasma rifle that adds up to a body count of 39. :)

Some have 2 weapons, so you never know...

Anyway, I have 2 VERY special pics here. The first is a poster/loading screen that never appeared to me before. It appeared spontaneously after finishing a mission. Ignore the warning message, I think the poster came with a bug anyway. Read on for THEORIES:

*SPOILER*

It shows the myrmecols orbiting Earth, although there are 3 of them. I don't know where the 3rd one came from, but you can see it's smaller than the other 2. Also, they never visited Earth at the same time, so I, for one, am perplexed :)

*End of Spoiler*

The second one is a comic/funny pic I made in MS paint (The first girl is the squad commander, so read her last).

Here's my own addition. All are taken from the demo, since I still don't have the full version.

This was before they realized it was ballistic.

As you can see, Sharad was pretty angry.

Sharad was still angry for losing his best friend and just couldn't control himself. (Note the amount of damage)

Anyone got good names for modded weapons?

In continuation of my former posting here is some pictures from another two part wargotian assault mission.

Are they attracted to the Wargotian Roach Motels or what?

Not much exciting going on in the outside part except that the Wargots were mowed down like when a lawn mower meets the grass.

One Wargot managed to come up close to FUBAR which it was turned into.

Being turned into Wargotian FUBAR

This time I had brought grenades for room cleaning on the inside and i became clear that the Wargots were lobbing the grenades like insane hitting nothing but the walls right besides them.

But I also noticed that the grenade throwing-something in the program is serious nerfed/broken/whatever which these few shots show.

Insane grenade lobbing

Here it's a little bit more clear

Insane grenade lobbing 2

Due to the problems with the grenade throwing I reverted to my storm the room and kill everything routine which Ram is executing to great satisfaction.

Blowing a Wargot head off

And the end result of that little meeting between bullets and the Wargots head.

The Smoke Puff of Death

After having discovered serveral Wargots holed up in a Wargotian Roach Motel I decided to give the grenade throwing an other chance....This time with my most devastating explosive...The satchel charge.

The first attempt at least did hit something.

Got One!

The next one hit a little bit more near home.

Got me a few more

And to finish the stragglers off I had a nice barbeque.

Toasting Wargots

Oh well off to blow some very large holes in the Wargot ship
