Executable Sizes

Featured Replies

So, as the I'm finishing up the TFTD editing, I want to begin work on the executable editor soon enough. I was wondering if all of the executable sizes are listed anywhere. I've got the sizes for the DOS versions of UFO as well as the CE version, but not the size of the executable from Steam (which I'll probably be buying soon enough).

Then I have the DOS 1.0, 2.0/2.1 size as well as the Steam version. However, I think there's a CE for TFTD.

Am I missing any executables? Thanks ahead of time.

Isn't the UFO steam version the same as DOS 1.4? (it also has CE included IIRC) There is a CE for Tftd as well, mine is 585.728 bytes (terror.exe)

Then there's also v1.2 and maybe even 1.1 and 1.3? Anyway Bladefirelight probably knows them all.

Ooh, I forgot about the XcomUtil executables. The Steam version of TFTD is the CE version then, because I have the Steam version and the file size is exactly the same. Awesome, thanks for the heads up.
The program folder is "c:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\xcom ufo defense\XCOM". This contains a merged install of both DOS 1.4 and CE editions of the game, hence there are multiple EXEs. The CE executable is titled "UFO Defense.exe", f0dder's loader is included as "UFO Defense_Patched.exe", and the DOS game is started via "c:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\xcom ufo defense\dosbox.exe".
