May 13, 200620 yr I didn't see a Supreme Commander thread so I figured we had better start one ASAP. It pretty much blows every other upcoming RTS out of the water, except maybe World in Conflict. Someone pointed out this jaw-dropping earlier today. Maybe Slaughter was there in the audience. And here's a recent preview at Eurogamer.
May 17, 200620 yr Yeah, we went to watch the trailer. It was shown in this very neat HQ building, and the game looked very impressive! Didn't give you a very good idea of the gameplay however, and graphics can only do that much. Looking forwards to trying the final product!

May 20, 200620 yr Upon discovering that there was a TA "spiritual successor" I did a merry little dance. From the article in PC gamer (it was a while ago) the game is going to be pretty damn good. Though that said some of the mods that have came out for TA over the years have been bloody good!
May 21, 200620 yr The trailer can now be downloaded from Gamer's Hell. I only need to look at that trailer to know that if I try to run that on my PC it'll explode about 30 seconds in..... Think it's time to start putting some sorby funds towards a new PC
May 21, 200620 yr Yeah, that is a problem. Quite a few of the games I saw at this years E3 will require some SERIOUS hardware for sure.

June 5, 200620 yr My comp is NOT going to cope with this one. Also I hope they incorporate some serious AI for your units as well, it's impossible to be omnipresent at this scale. Hell, it's hard even to plan it all. I think I may forget about my navy being built in one corner because I'll be too busy giving orders to the ground invasion while watching my air superiority go to hell.

May 31, 200719 yr I kinda like it, but it can get really unstable with larger maps. On my machine, anyway.
May 31, 200719 yr I tried the demo and didn't exactly get hooked. I hear the full game has much improved with the latest patch however, and others seems to like it fine. Guess you should give the demo a spin if you have a fast broadband connection (it's HUGE).
