Long awaited turn-based tactical game Star Sentinel Tactics was let loose on Impulse today for $29.99. I expect at least a few of you to try this out and report back.

X-COM: UFO Defense is now a freebie on GameTap. This is a good way to give the game a try if you've been sleeping on it for the past 15 years or so, but act fast since the offer ends February 5th.

So is anyone playing this yet? Any impressions? I've had it for a couple weeks but Fallout 3 has occupied most of my gaming time.

It looks like Stitch just laid one of those eggs in the top picture. Bright yellow & green is the new black in Russia, apparently. But really, the colors suit the game due to the fairytale vibe it's going for. And like HoMM5, it was easy for me to get used to and concentrate on the gameplay.

There are some minor updates for Hired Guns: The Jagged Edge. The Matrix site is up along with the official forum. And more importantly, the game might be here sooner than reported earlier. There's also a 1:24 video clip available from Tri Synergy.

Just ordered this Radeon HD 3650 512MB AGP card for $83 ($68 after the rebate). I'll be happy as long as I can play Bioshock, Fallout 3, and Stalker: Clear Sky without problems.
