Thorondor Posted July 12, 2016 Report Share Posted July 12, 2016 Inspired by games such as Dwarf Fortress and the Cultures series, Tribe Of Pok is about a Stone Age tribe of hunter-gatherers attempting to eke out an existence in a savage world. As showcased in the Forces Of Nature trailer, the environmental simulation is one of the game's major features. Aspects such as temperature, humidity, fertility, rainfall and seasons affect how your tribe members, known as Pokians, deal with the world around them. The coastal biome's rising tide causes crab holes to disappear along the beach, while fire pushes back snow to reveal the desolate tundra underneath. :: Having finally reached beta, Tribe Of Pok is currently seeking Greenlighting here. This first species pack will be called Plantoids, and, as its name suggests, will introduce sentient plant life to the universe of Stellaris. Instead of becoming salad or animal fodder, these plants have reached for the stars and begun to spread their tendrils across the galaxy, planting the roots of new civilizations on new planets. Our talented artists have put together fifteen new portraits, an original cityscape backdrop, and stunning new ship models for your new neighbors. The Planetoids species pack is slated for an August 4th release. :: Stellaris' soundtrack, composed by Andreas Waldetoft and the e-book Stellaris: Infinite Frontiers by Steven Savile, an original story about humanity's first contact with an alien race and the questions this raises have now been made available on Steam as well (soundtrack / e-book). You must guide Tahira, the 20-year-old princess of Avestan, on the most challenging night of her life as she fights to save her people from the genocidal Astral Empire. Players will control up to 20 characters at a time in large-scale battles, but guerilla warfare tactics are essential for survival, as the Astral Empire has a far greater number of soldiers than Tahira's forces. Characters must utilize the environment to level the battlefield by stealthily approaching enemies, taking cover and knocking foes off cliffs and rooftops. :: To be released and become available on Steam on the 31st of August.
