The placement of soldiers in base defence missions is random. One could do a turret that is so heavy you can't move it , no problem, but again: The placement would be random.

 

BA, please add the Psionic Mutants (Ethereals) from Fulby, he already gave his permission. And maybe his human raiders as well? :angel:

 

The Pistol with the flashlight looks cool, i wish we could add a small light effect to it.... Fulby, would that be possible?

 

Oh and BA, ask Kret, he has some really clever ideas to "re-invent" some of the energy weapons.

hehehe

i have found a away to make burst into a full automatic mode..no more 3 shots at a time..but shot after shot aftershot....of auto fire

it looks better..more bullets fly out of the gun

and sounds better

 

if intrested i will make a msall pistol mod to show you what i mean..bu smg's will stay the same

The Etherial is not supposed to have a face, unless he's being autopsied. No face in combat, so you could make the face blank and black on the inventory screen as well, and he's a live Etherial and not a dead one if he's on the inventory screen ready to take weapons in the cause. Etherial is supposed to be shrouded in mystery, a dark sort of aura permeating and cloaking his physical being while he's alive, or at least that's the way I see it.

The texture provided for the raiders by Fulby is very good. You should use it. As for the head, well maybe you can combine your Spec-Ops helmet with the one Fulby used.

 

Btw, the Psionic Mutants (Ethereals) should have a fitting loadout, make sure you add them with a psi.txt equipset attched :)

 

Oh and just one thing: Thanks for your hard work on the mod. I'm really having lots of fun with it. UFOAM was never so interesting as it is right now. I think ALTAR really has to make UFOAS something special to make it better than UFOAM is with the recent mods!

 

Installed mods on my PC: ComboModv2, Cameramod, Tough-Alien-Mod, Training-Mod. I play on the normal setting, so i get one or two pieces of equipment when conquering new bases. On Hard you won't get any stuff, but i want to see all of BA's work :)

 

The units in UFOAM finally have a "soul", they are very hardworking specialists, not the run-of-the-mill-standard-units they used to be in the unmodded game. And thanks to the new stuff and aliens you won't get bored anymore :)
