I worked years ago with friend on my own mod, but my Maya specialist passed away 5 years ago, so all the reseach I do to create the mod are useless.

It was a special WW2 secret services campaign for allied or 3rd reich.

I actively made some research about SOE special operation executive, and OSS : special weapons, hidden explosives devices like horse dung, coal... original weapons' prices and data

 

2 years of research are sleeping, so if it may help. All documents are in english, very few in german.

I May open a new thread for this ?

I believe you are allowed to open any threads you wish as long as they are useful. And I am pretty sure someone could find your docs useful.

 

Speaking of Maya: I know some basic stuff, so if you have questions about importing static objects like vehicles or tanks I ll gladly help.

As for characters, I can't import characters for now. Looking for someone who could explain how to do this properly.

Actually I have figured out already. Learned importing new character models the hard way.

Hi werHeruvim, sadly we got life apart from forum, and no time to do with this forum to help it to keep alive.

Anyway If it may help you I appreciate your work.

All the work I did as modding was on made 10 years ago with now "obsolete" programs.

I did Smersh NKVD special mission but never find the cost of original WW2 CCCP weapons.!

 

Did you really abandonned your work on TT mod,

Was it on WW2 or only postwar, did you schedulded to play Axe as well? or only CCCP or western allied?

 

what your new work is basing upon ? post chaos war?

I stopped working on it last year. If I ever revisit this idea, mod will have tons of new stuff (models, guns etc.). Now I can make it happen. However I don't feel there is a point, and being so busy IRL doesn't help either.

Basically it's Silent Storm Allies campaign 2.0. Think of a remastered version with new features and content but built on the same engine and for allies campaign only.

If you need some help, I will be happy to share my work, but my modifications on the original game (in english version of course) was done with SRL and window familial, and some work are unavailable under Window 7 "64", some bugs.

So I have continued working on this mod. Just a small update.

 

Like in Partisans Mod, True Terror will have some new models and objects (tanks, halftracks).

 

And I created some more!

 

In another thread Lt.Havok asked me if I could create G43 rifle.

Hi sir wonderful, with nigth watch import you would have access to the wolf present in it. I think Blunter speak about having dogs in your common project, can you transfert characters too?

Can you change animation too? Silent storm need running bend down attitude instead of crouch ...

Your soviet female is wonderful too. Did you schedulde to do german Helferinen too ?

Almost all human models can be transferred. I can import dog/wolf models, but S3 engine can't work with NW animal skeletons (or at least I haven't found a solution yet). Last time I checked any four-legged creature in S3 was deformed pretty hard.

 

I am yet to learn how to create a brand new animation. I will try to experiment with it in future. Some NW animations already appered in Redesigned. NW moving animations are good, but they can't be imported for now — character model can disappear while moving (this issue needs further investigating).

 

SS Helferinen? I had no plans, but it is possible.

Did you try right clicking an image to open it in a new tab/window? Works for me.

double click doas not work, but open as a new page work...I am so stupid sometimedown.gif

About Helferinen I was not thinking about SS especially but any kind of them, Heer, marine or luftwaffe.

 

The soviet female with her pilotka cap is really good looking, with good soviet clothes, nice work.

 

I solve the problem I got with redesignated S1 ramdom encounters not showing: I put both french and english version and there is a conflict!

 

Is there no way to do vehicules moving a little bit each turn as the characters (short screen animation??? as did Novik with T34) so the team could move to prepare an ambush or to avoid the vehicule, I do not know moving 12 or 20 squares = 7m to 13meters. Just may be a stupid idea?

Hey, everyone can be confused, no shame in it. I use this server just because it works fast for me, but I understand that it has some issues on different sites/forums.

 

For Helferinen I will need to look for concept/images and see if I can do it right. Like I said, it is possible, but may require some time.

 

Your idea is fine, but it requires some animating routine, at which I am not good yet. Novik used animated T34 (special skeleton and animations). However in Redesigned I tried to imitate car driving with objectsettowaypoint function, and it looked fine. I may try something like this again when the time comes.

nice lend lease jeep and the vickers on it is just greatful, it annouce like SdKfz 251 terrific fighting. And the explosion of windshield!!!

 

What do you mean wabout Helferinen concept/image ? if you need pictures of them or of uniform museum display I got them in case of, ask for them.

To have soviet female (or german) in real uniform and not strange ugly uniforms from the original game add an historic level.

 

But it is so sad to watch one of them crying...

 

Whatever well done, and I am still amazed about the work you modders are doing to revive this game.

Bahn Helferinnen; NSKK-Helferinnen, DRK Helferinnen, Nachrichtenhelferinnen des Heeres, Stabshelferinnen des Heeres, Luftwaffe-Helferinnen, Marine-Helferinnen, Ostland-Helferinen, Polizei-Helferinnen, RAD/BDM Helferinnen, TODt-Helferinnen, SS Nachrichtenmaiden, SS-Helferinnen, SS-Kriegshelferinnen,, or the hated SS-aufseherinen (Koncentration Lager warder)

I got hundred of pictures of them... so it is impossible to post here if I do not know what could be helpful. I should know too the year you want to see as Army regulation order gave directive to change uniform, but it is may be too much for a game 5sorry I like exactness too much... as much is possible with a game, but i like when player learn something or see something exact, far away from all the bulls..t you can read on internet... but I do mistake too! Leider). I can give web links too for easier access.

I will put on my thread all the work I did with weapons we done or schedule to do, ammunitions, objects... everything with weight and size real and in game(X-Y) Sorry I start with silent storm modding then change with sentinels, to finally rewrite everything for Hammer & sickle data (excelent weight and emcumbrance idea)...and never finished this version.

 

whatever I really appreciate the time you modder are giving to other,.. you might rather kept your mod for yourselves.

That's a pretty huge collection you have there! I was looking for SS-Helferinnen (1943-1944).

Any pics of them would be helpful.

here are some pictures well know on the web,( I got more, an ss nurses and ss doctoress as well as ss-krieghelferinnen at ERR in kiev...) jacket, winter Mantel, and work overall ! sexy one indeed!

I put too some drawning I did to realize them, but never do the job. Uniform jacket and Mantel are Feldgrau, cap is black, overall is black, shoes are their own civil black or brown leather.

 

I add a military order from RSSA :

 

 

14 August 1943, order from Himmler regarding SS-Helferinnen:

 

1. The designation SS-Helferinnen remains confined to female personnel who have been trained in the Reichsschule SS at Oberenheim/Alsace, tested, and incorporated into the Corps of SS-Helferinnen.

 

2. All other female employees and workers who are in the service of the SS under contract or by virtue of an Emergency Service Order will be known as Kriegshelferinnen, insofar as they are entitled to be issued with service clothing during their employment in accordance with the Führer's Order of 11 January 1943.

 

3. Service clothing : The approved service clothing for SS-Helferinnen will also be worn by Kriegshelferinnen, but without distinguishing marks apart from the Hoheitsabzeichen on the headdress and left upper arm.

SS runes, sleevebands with the inscription "Reichsschule-SS," and unit emblems are reserved for SS-Helferinnen only.

 

4. Administration of the Kriegshelferinnen is the responsibility of the unit employing them, in collaboration with the SS-Wirtschafts-Verwaltungs-Hauptamt, but the Chef der Fernmelderwesens (Chief of the Telecommunications Service) is exclusively responsible for SS-Helferinnen.

I like your idea, but in order to make this reality I will have to create a 100% unique model. Maybe I will succeed in future, but this process is not the fastest. Making some beatiful legs... it takes time. wink.png

About Helferin I understand rretty well the covert layers problem :

I put the ordonnance And you can put snow boot, rubber overshoes, and they certainly put boots on at the ostfront in mud, same boots as your soviet girls, so no more legs problem?.

 

Here picture of a Krieghelferinnen ? or Aussehrerin? (the Kriegshelferinnen were more numerous at Ostfront working at Rosenberg staff than Nachrichthelferinnen).
