March 15, 201412 yr https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ey22m463104 That is one seriously faked physics. Once you are inside the station, suddenly an in-station physics takes over... But ok, I guess it would be far too difficult to have an actual cylindrical rotation to match.
March 16, 201412 yr He he he, nice one, Thor! Anyway, in the vid the player matched the rotation of the (rotating) station. Fine. Then the ship entered the station and since the rotation has been matched, the station seems to be stationary. Which is fine. Then the ship leaves the rotation axis. If the physics were real, the speed of the rotating station would make it look as if the floor suddenly started moving in the side of the rotation. The further you leave the rotation axis (the closer you are to the "floor" of the hangar), the faster it would move relative to the ship. So to actually land, one would have to circle the axis of the rotation in the same direction and with the speed of the hangar floor. Quite a feat, really.

March 26, 201412 yr An Indie strategy/rogue-like about life, legacy & love from the creator of Highgrounds. Lovingly dubbed "The 5-Minute Civilization." Hero Generations is a quick-playing turn-based strategy game that takes inspiration from rogue-likes, 4X strategy, and independent art games. It has been described as the offspring of Sid Meier’s Civilization, Jason Rohrer’s Passage, and The Legend of Zelda. You play a rapidly aging hero that explores a procedurally generated world in search of fame and a mate to settle down with before you die. After your life ends, you continue on adventuring as your child.
