RPS' John Walker takes the title for a spin. Check out his exploits in the clip below:

The story of Lucius II continues where the original left off: Lucius emerges as the lone survivor of the burning wreckage his parents once called home, unscathed from the ruthless slaughter he had unleashed.

He had taken the weak and punished the wicked. He had looked through their souls and found the true selves they had been hiding.

Lucius is taken to the psychiatric ward of St. Benedict’s Hospital by unsuspecting caretakers. The Book of Revelations predicts the birth of a child that would end up ruling the world with an iron rod. The first part of this prophecy has been fulfilled. It is time to take care of the rest. Whispers of a prophecy find their way to the boy's ears. Lucius decides to act again to regain his powers. But little does he know of his new adversaries...

Classic point & click adventure gameplay, a good deal of black humor and a fantastic story set in a beautifully dark fairy-tale world; the game's designer Dane Krams managed to cook all this into a whimsical adventure-experience of the finest kind.

Almost each mythical creature has their own story in Anna's world and can help her on her quest - or actually needs Anna's help. And if everything else fails, her telekinetic powers are always good to provide a way out of dicey situations in the most lateral way possible.

Coming Spring 2015.

For now Daedalic Entertainment has announced two new games at GamesCom:

Who killed the Devil's Men?

Author Kevin Mentz, known for his critically acclaimed fantasyadventure Memoria, invented with “The Devil’s Men” a world made of steampunk elements amidst a fictitious Victorian England. In classic adventure gameplay, challenging puzzles are cleverly combined to a thrilling criminal case.

England, 1871: A sleepy seaside town – once venue of a legendary world exhibition – is kept in suspense by a bizarre series of murders. The trace leads to the old exhibition grounds, where ruins of steel and glass are the new shelter to a gang of waifs and strays, misfits and tramps – known as “The Colony”. To buoy up, the colony pursues more and more influence in the town and doesn’t shirk from ruthless means. The 20-year-old Adelaide Spektor feels threatened by this menace. Adelaide was still a child when she was left by her father, the famous detective Karol Spektor. Since then, she is hiding on the town’s streets and lives in fear to be discovered by the colony and to get swept up in a life of crime, contrary to the morals of her family. When she witnesses the murder of her father’s old friend, she sees her chance to find Karol Spektor and reclaim her former place in society. But only the notorious colonist and double murderer Emily can help take up Adelaide’s

father’s trail.

Together the two women get entangled in a plot leading to the “Devil’s Men” – a coterie of scientists who have exceeded the limits of the spiritual and material world decades ago, yet are bizarrily perishing one after another. Will Adelaide and Emily manage to track down Karol Spektor? And what is his connection to the Devil’s Men?

The Devil’s Men will be released in spring 2015.

FIRE

FIRE, the upcoming exploration adventure from Daedalic Entertainment, is all about intuitive game design and tells its hilarious story without words. Players will have to master the trickiest task of the Stone Age: Finding new fire.

It is up to the players to explore the primitive world of FIRE and to solve all puzzles in the most creative ways. Always helpful are the quirky creatures of this unique Stone Age setting: Why not using a mammoth and its trunk to shoot a coconut? No matter if mammoths, bats or dinosaurs – FIRE's colourful Stone Age world is inhabited by all kinds of useful and entertaining wildlife.

Part of that is the slightly clumsy Neanderthal Ungh – he's the hero of the story. At least if he finds the fire – until then he's the dopey and unlucky fellow who has let burn out the bonfire of his tribe during his fire watch stint. Now he has to get a new flame and therefore, he has to explore the primitive world to the last corner: Be it a jungle, veldt or the inside of a volcano – no place is safe from Ungh.

The urge to explore is set no limits, a click on or a hover over every object triggers a mimic reaction of Ungh of his surroundings – and with a bit of logic players will come closer to the puzzle's solution. For example, some locations can be visited at day and night – a click on the sun or the moon is enough to change the time of the day, which not only influences the lighting conditions, but also the behaviour of the creatures. Diurnal monsters will sleep at night, others will wake up or show themselves only when it's dark.

FIRE will be released in Q4 2014.

Silence – The Whispered World 2 the upcoming point & click adventure from Daedalic Entertainment, will feature two playable main characters: for one thing, players will control Noah, the 16-year-old teenager, who once traveled the Whispered World as clown Sadwick. But they can also choose Renie, Noah's little sister. Noah and Renie both have their very own strengths and weaknesses when it comes to solving the games' puzzles.
