Anyone having movement problems?

Featured Replies

Is it just me, or is the pathfinding for movement a little screwed up?

I noticed it gets worse when there is a PK on the screen.

Example in 1 mission, I tried to move 1 person 4 squares. IT took 21 clicks, all in the same location before the pc found the path, which was a straight line.

I will see if I can get a screenshot of this soon. (posting this message from work).

Just wondering if its because I am using the UL version in the States (sarcasim intended)

i have this problem all the time... especially annoying when searching crates and it keeps saying no path found... wait a few secs take a step back and theres nothing wrong with it

Greetings, new bloke here.

I've found that pressing escape also works quite often, my characters sometimes dont move at all, but when i press escape, they will move. Maybe the game thinks they're still doing something.....

Yes, this is really annoying sometimes :? usually just rotataing camera for different angles help with this. Hopefully they fix something regarding this bug to 1.2 patch.
It usually occurs when you have change dtha landscape in some way, destroying a door or wall. The game has to recalculate the available paths, and for some reason doesn't do it. I find the quickest way to force the recalculation is to simply make a character with the free look perk look somewhere. Just a simpe turn of the head and the game engine recalcs all the paths and people can move again.
