IgeL Posted October 14, 2003 Report Share Posted October 14, 2003 I've been playing Aftermath for some 20 hours. I'm on the first of March 2005 now, and playing on the Easy difficulty setting. I've also got some 20+ bases, all of Europe and most of Russia/Asia and a bit of Africa. Biomass is spreading in Africa, and South-America is almost covered by it. Other places are relatively free of it... I'm wondering that my game has progressed a lot differently than other people's. I still haven't got the Russian base mission and I'm not sure if that is weird at this point in the game, but here's a few things that have me worrying: First of all, all of my guys are level 10-13 and have Sun Armours / Combat Armours. I've read that many people have had soldiers at the same level when they entered the Russian base. I've "foreseen" that I don't get the Russian base until April/May 2005, and by that time my guys are probably in levels 20 or so. Also, I can't research anything new anymore. I think the Plasma stuff (Shotgun & Rifles) are the latest new stuff I got. I've also found many "Alien Plasma Gun" and other Alien Plasma weapons, but they do not show in the Squad menu nor the Research menu. What's up with that? I just want to know if the game is progressing way too slowly for me... For example, I'd like to get my hands on PSI projectors but to no avail. Do I just have to play patiently and eventually I'll start getting new stuff... Did you guys get PSI projectors before the Russian base? Thanks, that's all for now. rezaf Posted October 14, 2003 Report Share Posted October 14, 2003 Sounds weird.My game ended in early May, when I did the final mission, and I wasted almost a month recovering my troops, which were in bad shape after the "Capture the Retribution" mission, and manufacturing additional equipment (mainly Bioarmors and Warp Healtkits) for them, before that. ______rezaf Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
