    Can you upload a save, where after you pass a few hours or days your base gets attacked with high probability? Or a savegame where the base attacking big UFO is already on its way on your radar? My base wasn't attacked by a random chance in my playthrough. Tycho loaded the same savegame and the base was attacked in his case. I would just like to see what happens after recent base defense changes.

    It was on a terror mission. I will have a save next time it happens, I'm currently on a terror mission so will watch out to create a good save with this. Do you think a Quickload menu is possible? Bring up the Load Game screen when I press F9?

    Will try original DAT file. On dying units, I meant my XCOM commandos of course! On ALIEN MOVEMENT there are activity shown elsewhere, then an explosion is heard - possibly alien grenade - then 2 or 3 of my soldiers death screams, then the game gives back control in the next turn and all I see is 3 dead soldiers.

    I almost got my a** handed over to me by the aliens and the XCOM project closed. In desperation I built a new second minimal base - at exact opposite of Earth in complaining Russia - with a hangar and skyranger and ordered it to patrol. On April 30 it discovered an alien base. I had to wait until April 31 0700am for Skyranger 1 to refuel - it was patrolling like crazy too - then rushed my squad to the base, where I was badly pounded again. Thanks to save reload we finally beat the aliens and saved the XCOM project. Wheeew. This was close! Skyrangers are cheaper than interceptors and running empty they are best for patrol since having a large fuel tank! UFO Extender crashed about 2-3 times with exception errors, but upon reload I could continue. On Alien Base destroy there is the famous totally jumbled Wreck Analysis text. Otherwise the game is working nicely! Sometimes game isn't showing dying units - camera is elsewhere - and units just scream, then at next turn I find them dead.

    Quicksave Quickload feature: I wonder how much work would be to code this feature. To put a [Quicksave] section into the ini with QuickSaveKey=F5 QuickLoadKey=F9 and on keypress UFO Extender would store the 43 files in a GAME_1 ~151K in memory then load the game back on keypress.

    Tycho, could you please put parameters for BASS_SetVolume or BASS_CONFIG_GVOL_MUSIC / BASS_CONFIG_GVOL_SAMPLE into the INI so I can increase the music volume against the sound volume. Example: Music_Volume=0..100 Sound_Volume=0..100 Any value outside these is discarded. Currently music is too low and sounds are too strong. Thank You!

    Unusual event. The game suddenly put out a window while I was speeding the days that a UFO has crashed in Australia. It appeared to be an event resembling to the Roswell feature. "Sometimes saucers will crash there" Tycho, do you think it is possible in UFO Extender to let XCOMUTIL write skills of soldiers into the Soldier Name string variable as per one feature of XCOMUTIL 9.7? "Do you want stat strings added to the names of your troops?" Rank and number of kills would be awesome too. How do I use these in the INI? "*Weight, Accuracy, Reaction, Psi Strength, Psi Skill: Strings to use on the modified equip screen" [Equipment Screen] Show Stats=1 Weight=1?

    Currently investigating a Base Attack crash. Only happened once on a random event, on next reload a small ship came, so I will try to make a retaliation more likely: will try to shoot down a bigger UFO so aliens come visit with more probability. Then upload a savegame.

    No more crashes! Thank You! Also MAX FPS: 70 works beautifully in conjunction with Battlescape Delay=22. It slowed down the flames, now the bullets are fast as well. Awesome!!!

    Yes, this is best feature of UFO Extender: Its like rookie marines thrown into an UFO landing scene, they go in armed to the teeth: - HUAA! We are the marines, Locked cocked and ready to rock! Then begins the Predators 1 and Predators 2 movie script and the marines are torn to pieces. The frantic, hysterical butchering in Your creation really focuses the players all attention to little spots, of a farm, small UFO-s inside, small map sections becoming desperate Eye for Eye fights, humans losing mostly. And the Almighty Save Game's Godly Power is reduced! Slowed the Geoscape down so that it missed frames. =0 gives the best result on my dual core E8500.

    Win 7: Slow Geoscape Clock=0 Battlescape Delay=10 WinXPSP3: Slow Geoscape Clock=0 Battlescape Delay=16 had to take it up, because the animations were too fast. But if I take it to 22, where animations look nicest, the fire speed 6 slows down to a "crawl", whereas I would want good slow/fluid anim speed and high fire speeds with the bullets traveling still visible & rapid/exciting. I think high fire speeds increase the action quality of the game. Not so that the bullet almost instantly hits the target and only a splash can be seen, but nice fast firing speed, which was very good until implementation of Battlescape clock mod, but then of course the animations were too fast. So current is an okay compromise, albeit firing speeds in the current solution could be about 20% higher. Yes, fire turns out to be a very nice strategic option in Superhuman, where aliens begin to act super smart and sneaky. I started firing / laying down a nice Carpet of Fire with Autoguns. Overactive Sectoid Barbecue. Couldn't get into the UFO "flight deck", because Sectoid Rambos were jumping out of the door and disintegrating my soldiers.. then jumping back in. to my astonishment... So I lit the inside of the damn UFO up. Then came the errors. Can you think of maxing out some Fire-tile handling/animation memory buffers so the EXE can handle lot of fire? Is there an INI variable for Fire Handling Memory that I can max out? So the game uses 10 or 100 more megabytes of memory, but fires keep burning like in Hell? I reviewed Smoke&Fire Propagate Fix and Funky fire fix. Too bad fire and smoke is such an [original?] issue in this great game. Fire and smoke, if too much, should only slow the game down and not cause any more issues, making great tactics and awesome sights possible!

    Update: Latest downloaded Version 1.31.1 worked. I could assign engineers to laser pistol production, clicking on OK, no longer crashed the game. I'm continuing testing these awesome new features!! ((I got an XCOM crashed at 0x8 with error 0xC0000005 trying to access 0xC0000005 setting Laser Pistol manufacture with 10 engineers and clicking on OK.))

    Equipment is disappearing! Rocket launchers, pistols, rifles, auto cannons, all sorts of weapons disappear from mission to mission. I have to buy anew again. Possibly equipment - weapons - from wounded soldiers is taken and thrown away. Please fix this. Tested De-equip Crafts=0 or 1, Save Equipment=0 or 1 90% of my weapons are lost although soldiers lived. Equipment from stunned aliens are properly kept and sellable. Also in one instance I accidentally took off from site and the interceptors got the fleeing UFO (previously on ground) and the game gave me an Exception Error crash with a 0x00something hex code.     Patch Overlap Error starting UFOLoader.exe trying to patch same place twice 0x004487a6, 0x004487a8 Send this error to the author to have it fixed. In XCOMUTIL I enabled Ufo Extender and previously the two worked together.
