So, i must drop all of the mentioned weapons ? I've only gotten the desert gun in my research view.

I have the same problem, i've researched the ammo, but can't research advanced human weapons. I have sniper rifles, and dropped them as you said, but still no research change. Which weapon should i drop to trigger the research? Are there any missions where you should get those weapons easily?

Here is my team, i have 8. 1. Lvl 25 Leader, Ranger, Trooper 2. Lvl 23 Sniper, Technician, Stalker 3. Lvl 19 Medic, Scout, Commando 4. Lvl 19 Sniper, Technician, Stalker 5. Lvl 18 Sniper, Technician, Stalker 6. Lvl 15 Cyborg, Technician 7. Lvl 11 Psionic, Medic 8. Lvl 11 Sniper, Technician, Stalker All new ones i plan to train on sniper, technician and stalker.
