try changing DirectX or drivers. I had a simmilar porblem on my P4HT 3GHz, 256 RAM and GF FX5200(WIN XP). I only got a black screen after using that patch. Emm...The post apocaliptic felling fo the game. Also, the sounds, the music,the voices of soldiers,SAS,well almoust everything(except for those bugs). umm, i've got one lil problem with the newsletter. I type in my name and E-mial addres and something like this pops out: "Couldn't open connect : Unknown database 'strategy_convert'. Please go back and check settings"... Can anybody help?

About those graphic cards... Im thinking of buying a new card ( to be honest, for UFO:AS ) But i found a few types of GeForce 6600 and i dont know which one is good enough... AAnyone can tell me what are the "prefered"parametrs?
