Anyone know the item-number of the Prototype_8 X-COM weapon? I wanna screw around with it, but no-one seems to know it's itemnumber. I wanna start a new game with this weapon just for fun. If anyone knows it, please reply. Itemnumber of corresponding ammo would be nice too, though I think it will spawn at the base once you get the weapon.

The Axis-train map is in the full game, but not playable? If you let the game alone for a few minutes (main menu) then a demo will start playing. Yesterday that demo was on the train-map... Pretty cool to watch. Try it, but don't touch the mouse...

Random map generator? Sounds like a load of bullsh*t to me. Some encounters do have some random stuff, like one time there will be a parked truck, and the next time there won't be one... But random maps? Nah, afraid not...

Interested in a G.I. Joe mod? HELL YEAH! P.S. I liked FF... Too bad I can't find my copy anywhere.

Actually, we had a discussion about a G.I. Joe mod about 6 moths back over at the Nival forums... I think it would be ubercool! If only for the costumes... If anyone decides to make one, I'll buy him a case of beer.

Just unzip it into your main S2 folder, start a new game, and choose the mod you wish to play with...

There has been alot of arguing about those ranges. Remember you are playing with rookie mercs. Once they start leveling up, those ranges won't be a problem.

Come on Biggles! Post the mod! I want to get my grubby, sweaty hands on this!

That's what I wanted to hear... Thanks for the usefull info. I really hated that reflex crap, in fact I tought it was my main gripe with the game. Glad it can be fixed. 8)
