Sorry for the spoiling  Yes, the german version is 1.1a and no, the bug is in the game. But next week is fine with me. Thanks for the info.
-
Is there already a release date for a german-version patch which solves the power-cell-bug? *Spoilers* I want to make sure I got everything researched / developed before going to the moon and make some big step for the mankind
-
And I thought this is a bug special for the german version. Bugs of the world unit!
-
Sehr gut, harre schon der Dinge die kommen mögen.
-
I could research the advanced plasmagun/shotgun. But I'm quite sure there is something more to find (heavy arms, maybe a armour). Talking about R&D: What warp tech you guys found ? I think I'm stuck there too. UAwg.
-
You're right. There's just one way to handle the aliens: seek and destroy; and there's just one way to rule the world: alone !
-
Ok, I wrote shit! Got the same problem. Lot of this "alien power cells" but not allowed to develop the human version. I hope this won't stop me from researching/developing other plasma technology (But i'm afraid ). Is it just a german version bug ? Anyone who can help ? ???
-
As far as I know there is a difference between energy and power cells. Maybe thats the problem. Hoffe ich schreib da keinen Scheiß1

Not too sure about that. I think you just have to wait till a mission in this area appears or just wait till the aliens attack your base and then defend it. About delegating: Do it the same way; it's, in my opinion, not possible to do them all on your own. So you got to pick a few out. Maybe the game developers wanted it that way. Makes the game more realistic. You can't defend the whole world on your own (or with 7 lads).
-
Yes you do. At least as far as I know. First yellow, then red, then gone. But don't worry to much about. You can win your bases/sectors back again.
-
For sure. But like X-Com postet It'b nice to be sure if I researched everything after the game.
-
Is there already a complete tech-tree out there (with all the stuff to research and develop), Just for interest?
-
I've got none of the weapons you're talking about researched at the moment. :hmmm: And after your post I feel like playing with ape-men throwing stones at aliens. THX !
-
Just use the "walk" button, move to the alien and pick him/her/it up. Don't forget to support the soldier with the alien. He/She is slow and defenseless at this moment.
-
Seams like using a grenade makes a lot of problems ?
-
Sounds like a Cowgirl with suicide tendencies on the roof of a skyscraper ...Just joking
-
Don't mind about. I got it even worse: I already have the game BUT I CAN'T PLAY, still at work.
-
It's Ok if you know how it works. And about the timer: I think it's more realistic without one. Think about it: Oh, sorry Mr. Alien, can you wait till I got the timer set ,please, so, ready,... It's better the way it is: Throw, duck, boom, Mankind 1: Aliens 0

I HAD fun. I was playing till 03.00am. At the moment I'm sitting in the lab trying to let my boss not know that I'm sleeping all the time.
-
Not exactly, You can throw them over a distance (and you should !!). Just take one in your hand, aim like with a rifle and then "fire". You will then throw an armed granade. If you use the throw button you'll just throw a granade to them (like any other item.
-
YES ! That's what I wanted to hear. No money. Would be a perfect world: No money, everyone helps each other... If there weren't those nasty aliens.
-
No need to arm them. The thing is to use them like a normal gun and not to throw them
-
I'm not sure but I think I read somewhere that the game just supports the 1024x768 resolution.
-
I’m not sure about this but it looks to my like there is no need to earn cash in them game from the governments for production and running the bases. AND I LIKE IT. Was one of the things I couldn’t understand while playing the X-com games: There is an alien invasion going on and the governments let rather die their citizens then spending money to the only defence force on earth. Same with the bases: Now if you lose a base you just have to fight it back; X-com: You had to spend a lot of money to keep it running and if it was destroyed it was gone (and the money). Hope I didn’t wrote shit (like I said I was playing just for a few minutes). P.S.: Congratulations to the game developer team: GREAT GAME SO FAR !

Don't worry, they work. Like you said it takes some time till the injured person gets up again.
