  1. Just shoot anything and everything!
  2. I think you have to wait far too long, having completed three quarters of the alien dimension before getting the alien gas and by that time you hardly have to fight them compared to when they are always raiding your dimension!
  3. Yeah, I use the second one lots and it works!

Surely the tech forum would be the best place to ask this qeustion!
  5. Surely attack means that they physically attack the building, and raid and storm mean they send men into the building to attack their men.
  6. I found the flight sim bit hard enough on easy mode! Regularly lost plenty of wingmen!
  7. Got a bit bored on easy mode so never played it on superhuman! Have you tried.....the cheats?
  8. That seems as good an answer as any other!
  9. This might just be me and my psycho tendencies, but I always have a heavy thermic lance and lots of grenades on 1 guy and use him to take out the lobstermen(2 hits max)!
  10. I never used medkits, I just saved it at regular intervals and loaded it if I got whipped!
  11. Right on!

Alright, I will let you of then you protective souls you!
  13. Welcome! I thought that apocalypse was better, it was just the weak s**t about the micronoids and only getting anti-alien gas after you have killed nearly 80% of the aliens that bugged me. True, UFO is brilliant, TFTD was good because it was just a port of the original underwater, Interceptor was good, but in a different way(even though the space flight felt absolutely rubbish) and I have not played anymore so I cannot comment on them :alien2:
  14. Mine always worked on windows, and I use windows 98se
  15. Ah! A person after my own heart! I thought it was just me that completely blitzed all UFO's in the alien dimension on a weekly basis to prevent them raiding Mega-Primus!
  16. I have seen this as well! They suddenly stop and decide to throw a grenade instead of running like they were when you paused it!
  17. VegasSte replied to sephiroth's topic in Apocalypse
    Yeah! Stop busting his chops!
  18. So there is no ingame way of sorting your vehicles?
  19. Always Real Time! Real time, real time, real time! All the way real time!
  20. diablo nad/or psyke always tend to go hostile on me!
  21. I quite agree that it would be a fantastic idea!
  22. And that last point was so important you thought you would say it twice eh loonie?
  23. I am a wing commander series fan as well, and was disappointed by the flight simulation in xcom interceptor, however the rest of the game rocks!
  24. Welcome to XTC, and keep us posted because I would like to try some of these ideas!
  25. The base management side of this game is on a par with other xcom games, and the probe business is good, but i really hate flying the combat missions because the controls on this game's flight simulator are dodgy to say the least. Most of the time the wingmen can pick off your target before you get a chance to hit it(unless you use the expensive missiles) and even then most of those miss their target! However, do not let this put you off! The game is a nice touch to the series, varied enough to be interesting and you soon get used to the combat! I hope that this will help you to make up your mind either way, but I personally would say YES! I have this game and really enjoy it!
