So, how do you outfit your soldiers? I'm new at the game, and haven't got Blaster launcher and Stun launcher yet, but here's what i think i'd do, when I finally have them. Side Equipment: Mediket. Armour: PA.(or Power Suit but I don't know the cost of that) Weapon: Most of them with Heavy Plasma, 2 out my 10 with small launcher, maybe someone with a Blaster Launcher in the back. Please post your own, and discuss mine, oh, for easy reading, post your EQ in the same manner as mine.

I didn't know about the morale effect. My, this game is suprisingly complex for a DOS game! Anyhow, it's still worth the risk, but I only do it of course, when they're carrying a gun. (Which is, in my case, a Heavy Plasma)

Hmm, i'm not sure what I have. Anyway to check? I know my scroll is very fast even at 1, so that might be the DOS. My comp is athlon 900.

ok, i was wondering about, i think I have the dos version. It does run in windows 98 se. Is there a better version of enemy unknown available?

Ethereals. Damn Mindcontrols. CHRYSALIDS ARE EASY! I always arm ALL my men with Heavy Plasma(just let your engineers build 100 ammo, shouldn't take long with 50), and I can always kill them with one salvo!

The Power OF Natural Selection Is Awesome. Although a bit of help from my hand also helps. I NEVER look at stats. If an unit gets MC or pan. or Bers. to much. POW! Dead. The Weak Fool.

LOL. I got those bastards too in the early game, with only motion scanner(for money) and medkit researched. I got 14 men on my skyranger(standard), and I lost 5 of them to an invested city with Cyberdiscs and Sectoids. The CD's can be destroyed by normal rifles, it just took me ten guys on a long range, and 5 on a short range, with about 10-20 hits to destroy a CD. A, small, bonus is that I got more CD corpses, that way.
