Very funny slaughter , so the special edition will be sold in a shop in the UK, which is still unknown, hope they sell it also online, as a ticket to the UK will be expensive although it's not that far away....maybe I could swim.

Hi Tam, I am awfully busy nowadays, I am barely at home because of our training and preparations to go to a sandy hot land in Asia in the near future so I will be away for a while, I hope aftermath will be out before I leave, I will take it with me on a laptop.

Let me know, if they cooperate I am willing to trade some money for cool UFO stuff, and I am sure there are more people who have been watching this game for a while would like to buy extra goodies. Although it isn't the time of year for sunglasses anymore.

There whole site is in Chech so I can't read it, looks like they don't do international shipping as else there would be some English for the foreigners to order. We are missing all the cool stuff, first the scoreposter and now the special edition, we need a Chech ufo aftermath shop who sents stuff abroad!

Looks good, Although for a big part the same as the old trailer you now hear the weapons fire and it sounds good, also a collapsed statue of liberty and big ben (I guess) adds to the atmosphere, did I see a flamethrowing turtle over there?

Oh shit, with all my complaints why did my girl have to yell 3 times that we should go while I was playing the demo........noooo I am hooked to Silent Storm, I won't leave my computer anymore.

Well, have you ever tried trowing a grenade? It's harder than you think, and you can't trow it really far actually, I can't believe that a game with such detail, graphics and realism in destruction of the surroundings falls back on the old turn-based thing, is this because they wanted to make the game like this or is this really the best way to play such a game, in X-COM Apocalypse you could choose between real-time or to play in turns, and I loved those shoot-outs while grenades flying all over the place at the same time, so why not in Silent Storm, but that's my opinion, I am sure there are real fans who say that I should shut up , and I played Ufo: EU for years with lots of fun so I can't complain.

It looks beautifull, but the turn-based element really pulls out the action and makes it annoying after a while,it looks like the whole battlefield is waiting for that one guy to take the shot.....it feels like going back in stead of an improved fighting element as we hopefully will see in U:A and LSN:E, seen a few screenshots of LSN:E, and it looks good. I also saw a screenshot of a globe, so it seems we will have another X-COM inspired game....duh, those guys invented X-COM.

Slaughter, at ufo-aftermath.com there is a new interview in Czech but have a look at the screenshots, there are a few I haven't seen with the new interface, you see one of those heavy weapons and an equip screen with an armoured soldier.

And every soldier is an individual instead of the massive all look a like units in C&C. I have been playing today, when your technology increases you get cooler vehicles, now I had a buggy with a gatling-gun on it and if you are fast you can repair enemy vehicles and use them for yourself when enemy troops left the vehicle because of the damage.

Has anyone played original war, on a few things this game has similarities with UFO, although it looks like a normal rts, it has the pause element to give new orders, which is already unusual for this type of game, your soldiers improof their skills, also the soldier drawn for UFO, in the art section have similarities with John, the main character of OW, so I guess Altar had a bit of experience.

After I ordered I got a message that the price has been lowered with 10 pound to 22,95, lucky me.

Ufo is postponed with two weeks according to the official site isn't that crappy, but I was at gamespot and looked at the most popular games and Ufo is nr.1! Great right.
