I only cheat if I can't win any other way, or I'm getting bored with the standard game

theres nothing wrong with lasers!! I only use laser rifles and have no problems what-so-ever!

I don't know I never used either, i only ever used dual avalanches, now they aren't as good as before

aren't plasma cannons a bit short-ranged?

I've always used avalaunches on my ships but now i'm getting further in the game the're just no longer effective enough, what do you use when the aliens start sending in th "big stuff"?

actually now all my men have power armour i use one of the guys, mainly because if 1 dies i need to make more power armour to equip the replacement

I'm always amazed how well people from other countries can speak English, compared to how I can (or can't more often than not) speak theirs.

I name a few soldiers after friends, when they die I just name a new rookie after them.

i never got the hang of them, i couldn't remember what to use 4 what injury etc, i may try from now on

it does make you care about the soldiers, if i named all my rookies i might not use them as cannon fodder as much (note: might)

no, sometimes a soldier will be hit by alien fire, but won't die right away insted he has fatal wounds which slowly subtract from his health (a few every turn) until he dies or the mission ends and he gets to hospital. i've had men take 3 plasma rounds (not sure if heavy or rifle) at close range ie right next to them, and still get away with a few fatal wounds

you're right i can live with my game the way it is, just need to be quick hittng intercept

thats good, the only reason i cheat is sometimes i enjoy it more, most of the time though i do it with out cheating

sort of, the way i see it is they're going to die any way so they might as well take a couple aliens with them (has evil idea involving high explosives ) sometimes they manage to kill the last couple of aliens then the mission finishes and they live another day (which is good)

i prefer not to unless i'm really not enjoying the game

do laser tanks use elurium?

they use only one unit? i must have flown about 15 missions in 5 minutes, probaly didin't help me using loads of elurium making flying suits
