Rv52
Like I said in another post, Im just getting the game out again for the first time in a few years. Ive noticed in this game Im playing, I hit february of the first year and now when im on missions, after the very first turn, i hit the button to let the comp go and it freezes up. It does it no matter how many times I restart, or skip to the next mission. It didnt do it right away, but now it is. Sucks too because I had a good first month. tasothmiester
You may need to download a patch for it as on newer computers and running systems (even Xp which claims to have a compatability wizard) because older games don't work
the_dead
This happened to me when I was trying to get it to work on an S3 card by disabling the video card. You don't have one of those god forsaken S3 cards do you?
Rv52
I dont have one of those video cards. what kind of patch is available? I installed the standard update patch, is there any other?
Ki-tat Chung
try installing xcomutil. it has several "homemade" patches (mind you, they are quite good). on my personal experiance, it freezes sometimes after a 'nade explodes on a terror mission... Faskalia
Get yourself X-Gold, as well as the xcomfixes to run it with gforce cards.Works nice, even under XP (sound and everything).
