I'm coming back to aftermath for the second time now. I played it when it was first released.

I seem to remember there was an unofficial super high res mod/patch/thing of the in game globe which you could download and use.

 

I've searched around the site, and can't seem to find it - so apologies if it's here already.

 

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Or did I just imagine it?

Oh well.

I believe there was talk of doing a high resolution globe using some NASA imagery (I think, I could well have imagined it too ), but to be honest I don't know whether it ever resulted in a proper, working release.

Sounds familiar, but can't find it.
