mockingbird Posted May 19, 2007 Author Report Share Posted May 19, 2007 Well, technically, um.... it's a thingie (-: I am not one of the coders, unfortunately, so the best answer I can offer is,that it is some kind of a software physics engine, that makes (almost) realistic - behaving objects possible to code with minimal fuss (especially when compared to having tocode all the physics from scratch) Nothing to be afraid of ma'am, it is just an application, which can be safely uninstalled once it is not needed. A beautiful dream that has it's own niche in the gaming industry despite it hasn't any earthshattering impact on the world where the two dinosaurs (Nvidia and AMD) rule.There is just not enough games out there that use the PhysX technology.
