have got no idea what to do i kill all the enemies and coe across the red arrow beastman what do you do once you half kill him and the game says beastman captured as soon as i walk away from him i lose him how do you get him to either follow or stop shooting at me (my crew)

And that is what you need to do.

 

To succesfully capture an alien you have to incapacitate it by one of the following means:

- Shoot until their health bar goes red.

- Stun it with a psionic attack or something else that stuns.

 

After you have brought your target down you need to have a person near it when it awakens (a medkit really does wonders here. So do remember to pack one before the mission).

 

To avoid the captive from turning on it's captors(your troops) keep at least one person near it at all times while escorting it back to the UFO.

 

One other way of completing a capture m

Ok, you must firts knock them unconcious by taking away all the green "health" and leaving grey(stun) + red (temp) and as little of black (permanent) health. After which, one of your units must be close enough to "take control". After this, you only need for it to regain conciousness and stand up to command it's movements like any other unit. You might need to take a medikit and someone that can use it to reawaken the hostage.

I found another way to capture them, if you mind control the victim he will trigger the captured thing too. However the minute he breaks out of the mind control he'll be loose again even if you have a person next to him.

 

One way I do it, is to mind control him, drop all his weapons and trap him between my big suit guys so he can't run anywhere, then I take a weapon that won't kill him in one shot and drop him unconcious and revive him with a medic.
