Zombie
Nice job on the website and storyline, ATeX and dipstick! I'll add this to our project resource list shortly. Looks like some good news for fans of the X-COM series. Please keep us updated on your project, and if you need anything, just give me a shout! - Zombie

Zombie
Sorry for the late reply, but we don't usually set up a forum for a new project project because: Your project must also be very much in production. We will not offer any of the above services to anyone coming to us with a project idea, as many do not get past the ideas stage. You must be able to prove that modelling/concept artwork has been started, as well as part or all of the game concept itself. We make no apologies for these restrictions, as if they weren't in place we would be host to a plethora of projects that would in all likelihood never be completed. So, we would like to see some significant progress and activity in the project before we set something up. Once that happens, feel free to pester one of us again and we will be happy to review and add it. - Zombie

Azrael Strife
Azrael, please leave out your personal problems with the project. We now have:1) a programmer that introduced us with a selfwritten engine that's capable of BSP loading , shadow mapping, the Ageia PhysX physics library, terrains, and reflective water and atmospheric scattering.2) a professional writer who has worked on projects such as Knights & Merchants, Earth 2150 and The Moon Project3) a professional lead software architect4) a 3D specialist5) just posted a small video6) just installed SVN, and are busy with installing other tools7) are heavily working on all aspects of the game behind the scenes all the best, ThomasATeX, please show me where in my post I included personal problems, I repeat: "I wouldn't count new project members as "significant progress and activity". That was my personal opinion. All the best, Azrael

Zombie
Just got an email from the Quasar team informing of a bug on the join tab at the "new" website. New website? Haven't checked there in a while so I stopped in today to take a peek. Wow, the whole site has been redone: linky. They are still looking for members to join the project with the main focus being on programming obviously. So if you have what it takes, consider joining the effort. - Zombie
Gimli
The link wasn't correct, so I fixed it, I hope you don't mind. It had an extra "https://".
