infael
My new vid card is just a little too long. One of my IDE channels is in the way. It's just the corner so if I can remove it, it'll fit. The corner already has a hole in it, punched by the factory. There are no cirucuits or anything close by. I'd just be removing that hole. I've a picture but I apparently need a hosting site to post it here. What's a good way to remove the corner? I was thinking a Dremel might do it... infael
https://www.leadtek.com/3d_graphic/winfast_...0_gttdh_1.html# If you click on the picture of the vid card, you'll get an enlarged pix. The punched hole at the lower right corner is what I need to remove.
Slaughter
As long as there's no "metal" there, you're just removing plastic as far as I can understand. Then again, I don't know too much about it, so you should wait for advice from someone than knows more than I do.
Kret
I wouldn't even dare to try that, I would rather get a new mobo, a new hard drive and reinstall everything rather than to risk damaging the card by accident.
