New weapons, new money system, new maps... 8) Only to concerns I have so far: 1) Looks like PKs are still in it, but that wont be such a bad thing if they can actually be scratched by MGs & Rockets. Then acutally they might be fun... 2) The money system, at first glance it should be great, but I hope they play tested this a lot so that but the time youve finished 3 random maps, and 1 campaign map you dont have like 50k! What is stopping me from picking up all the weapons from the nme and then selling them from thousands? ~
April 30, 200422 yr I'll try and make some time to put more screenies online. Your concerns are pretty valid... but I am hopeful they are unfounded. 1) Nival have said it will be pretty hard to capture a PK without destroying it, so hopefully that means they are easier to kill. They have also said that they will play a lesser role in the game, which for most people seems to be the right move. 2) You can't carry all that shit! The demo, if played to get money can give you about 10K after the second mission (depending on what mission you do) But medical expense and weapon repairs cost a fair bit.

May 3, 200422 yr There is dfinately a problem with one of the russian mirrors. Try grabbing it from 3D Gamers or GamersHell. Both have multiple mirrors and one is likely to be in a region near you.

May 10, 200422 yr Hiring soldiers, buying weapons, this game is getting more and more like X-Com every day! :roll: All they need is customisable bases and intercept aircraft.Of course it's not necesarily a bad thing, just sayins all :wink:

May 10, 200422 yr Never played Jagged Alliance. Pitty, sounds like a good game from what I've heard on here.
May 10, 200422 yr You can still buy Jagged Alliance 2, and there's the 'Unfinished Business' official add-on... and of course the recent 'Wildfire' mod. The original Jagged Alliance may be harder to find... but it's a great game too. My friends consider it the superior in terms of gameplay, but personally I got into JA2 more.
May 10, 200422 yr Author Remember JA:Deadly games? Wasnt that the MP version of JA? I had it, I even made some maps too, but in those days there was no easy way to connect with ppl across the world. I only had 1 friend that played it so I really never got to enjoy it as much as I wouldve liked :/ Playing scrims of S2 or even some Co-op would be pretty cool too... PS: S2 getting closer to Xcom is not a bad thing.
