CPT.Beefheart
I tried to play UFO-Aftermath with Anti Aliasing (Sapphire Atlantis Radeon 9500 PRO, Catalyst 3.8, Win2k SP4, Ufo Aftermath 1.1) but could not see any changes to the graphics. In other games AA works well. Anyone else had this issue? thx guys, Beef.
systems
I took the 3.8 drivers off as they slow the world map down (I've reported it to ATI). With the 3.7 drivers anti-aliasing works perfectly (with 9800). Make sure you set it in your OpenGL settings not DirectX.
CPT.Beefheart
I thought U:A would use DirectX rather than OpenGL - this could be a reason Thanks! Beef.
rezaf
If you have an older GeForce 2 Pro graphics adapter like me, you need to turn off anti-aliasing entirely, or the game won't run at all. I'm disappointed they didn't fix this issue with the 1.1A patch. ______rezaf
CPT.Beefheart
WOW - graphics are really nice now! I'm very impressed since turning on anti-aliasing, even though I was disappointed by the graphics without aa. I did not think it could change so much... regards,Beef
shrapnel
I didn't see any option to turn on AA in the game "Options' area or the Launcher.exe Options. Are you talking about activating AA from the Display properties accesses from the desktop? Also when I first loaded up the game there was a brief message that said my AA was not supported.
