Nothing in the pre-launch config menu either. Similarly there's no option to invert the mousewheel, as the manual suggests there is. Puzzling! OptimusPrme Posted October 9, 2003 Report Share Posted October 9, 2003 This may or may not be connected. In the options, there are two entries titled 'UFO Detected' and 'UFO Engaged'. I turned the text/pause options off, and not only did I not get the movies, but my fighters didn't even attempt to intercept! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Norman Posted October 10, 2003 Author Report Share Posted October 10, 2003 I'm going to try messing around with some of the options in the UFOOptions.txt file. I noticed these lines... KEY "dogfight_win" BOOL FALSE KEY "dogfight_lost" BOOL FALSE KEY "dogfight_retreat" BOOL FALSE ...despite having the respective message notifications turned ON via the Options screen. Slaughter Posted October 10, 2003 Report Share Posted October 10, 2003 In "Strategic" options, make sure you have a cross in both the "UFO Engaged" boxes. Then, as you get the "UFO Engaged" message on screen, click "Stop" and the movie will be displayed to you (I think, it does for me). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
