Actually, the reviews aren't that bad and the core gameplay is soundly there.

It's perfectly salvageable and these are just some birthing pains.

Given our considerable experience (groans at white hairs in the mirror), if you purchase any game at launch these days it's either an impulse buy or a way for you to support the developer.

You already know you're a glorified beta tester in for an early bumpy ride and just a little down the line other people will be buying the game much cheaper and with all the kinks ironed out.

In this particular niche of Marvel's I'd say Firaxis has a contender here. Its charms are kind of lost on me but I can see how it can appeal to others in that audience.

I agree, Thor. I need to learn that in due time I'll be right after all.

 Lately anything Disney does has failed.

We'll see, but something tells me this game will die a quiet death.

But yes, buying at launch is something for fools and real enthusiasts, of which I mainly fall under the first, though have been known to get stupid enough for the latter, too.
