Kerberos is thinking about releasing an HD version of SotS Prime. They are also asking us fans what would such a hypothetical release mean to us, what would our expectations be and so forth.

If it looked as SotS2 this would be super awesome.

Not in every aspect but yes.

They could even do that final patch they promised and never did for SotS.

Oh, it is supposed to be a whole new engine, so - as far as I understand - it will be a new game built with the same design document. So expect new bugs.

I hope they will allow 100+ ships combats and drop the 32 bit limitations.

I'd rather see less, more durable and more autonomous ships. To bring it somewhat towards a space opera.

Then they would have to use SotS2 solution, but without the prototyping, and I'm not sure they can make AI to use it good.
