A return to the turn-based Roguelike roots of the indie classic and takes you back to a legendary alien facility dug deep into the Feldspar Mountains and beyond!

Sword of the Stars: The Pit 2 is to purportedly become available via Steam Early Access "soon". Kerberos Productions' CEO Martin Cirulis provides some further insight into what's planned here.

@SV: good to know. They should really change their game description on Steam because it's bound to mislead a good bunch of their potential audience.

They don't want to. I've specifically asked about this in their forum and the response was that it is nitpicking. True, in a way, but to me it makes a BIG difference.

You can choose two of the five player characters in the game, The Marine and The Medic, to get an idea how differently characters play compared to one another (you can still check the skills, attributes, and item load-outs of the other three, you just can't play them). Then you can try the first three floors, with the normal dynamic layouts and randomized encounters and loot! Shoot some things, scrounge for things, make things, turn things into other things! Maybe die! Probably die! It's a Rogue!

Sword of the Stars: The Pit 2 now has a demo available on Steam.

I think the website is going off the rails...I posted this once and was told it couldn't be posted. So I tried again and now you can delete the 2 post I had no intentions of making.
