The mission still stays. The problem with beating the surface part is that I simply don't have the firepower or armor for an open, long distance fight.. I mean, I don't even have a collapsible machine gun -.- I have some heavy armour tho.. Going to try it your way, cheers.

Ok, so this is a very old topic, and I'm sorry to revive it but, I need help Basically, first time I tried to go in with 7 men, well.. 3-4 rockets immediately come at me + 4-5 laser guys so if I spread out they die that way, if I dont spread out they die in 5 seconds ;( So, I reloaded and decided to go in with ONLY malcolm, ran around every single enemy, ran into the base, killed a couple of guys, ran to get the files.. ran back, exited mission (it said mission failed ???) .. and nothing -_- So I figure, hell, I need to take the base! So, I reload inside the base, spend 1-2 hours killing 10+ aliens alone, half of them when I was in a state of not being able to withstand more than 1 hit from the microsluggers and I was out of grenades, had to get them with my Neostead -_-;; Managed to eventually take them out by stealing some psi projectors, making them drop their weapons and then run infront of me/ambushing and hit and running.. But nothing. NOTHING happens, I've searched the base back and forth and I can't find shit T_T? Bug? Should I just leave with the case even tho it says mission failed? The mission doesn't go away even ..
