I've gave up on that, but i wonder if any "real" movie makers would take up the x-xom movie idea, I think if done right it would work out great, I know there has know there has been millions of Si-Fi films made but i beleave the x-com story would do well , Also i'm sure everyone who has ever played and loved x-com would go to see it, Some film company has to like the idea!

you wouldnt be able to blow up the energy thing at the ned of the mission using just hth maybe afew grenades aswell , maybe that might make it abit more interesting!!!

Also there sholud of being way more aliens protecting the head alien! I've had harder 1'st months in the game then my last one! ah well still a great game,

also when i try to play it with windows media is said it can't play that type of file

i have it installed but it sez that the file is not a valid responsefile

I've finally finished the game nerly 3 years after i started this topic! I tought the last mission would of being alot harder! I found that some of the terror missions where harder than the last one! I didnt have to search for even 1 alien in the 3 levels! Ah well it was good all the same, The video at the end was abit crap but it was over 10 years ago :lol:

Hi all, I'm back 2 years after i started his topic and i'm still having the same problem, This time on the Pc , I even used a HEX editor to try cheat my way to the end and I still cant finish the game I've tryed everything, What am i doing wrong? I've loads of money im taking out around 3 r 4 alien bases a month and i still can't go to the city, I got abit futher on the PC version as i researched the Alien City and all, But i can't go there i havn't can't even build a manta let alone a lav, Do I have to research another live deep one

Good stuff, so i guess that not many people have played this game , I though loads of people would of downloaded it, I know its a big download but most people shouldf have broadband by now!!!

I'm about 8 weeks into the game and it keeps geting better, Any thoughts on it?

Hi All, I've only came across the X-com Fan Made game X-FORCE Fight For Destiny resently and i have to give credit to the people involved , Altough some parts of the game are still in German it is a very good salute to the X-COM games,I think that anyone who hasn't Downloaded this game yet should, Its well worth a look, I also heard that UFO2007 is looking great, Keep up the good work lads,

has any1 had a problem using hatfarms UFO save game editor? When i try to load my saved game a message comes up saying " empty file unitref.dat " can any1 help me with this?

i cant seem to get into the website,

I seem to find that the more radar i have the more ships i dedect so im gessing that more is better,i dont think you should scrap the normal radar when you build the trans,

I tryed changing the game settings but when i start a new game it stalles, Is it because i changed the starting money?

yeah they are much easyer,i also like the alien artifact 1's as the isn't as many levels in the 2nd part,some times i like when my base gets attacted as it is nice to walk around your base and kick some alien arse. :devil:

NKF i know nerly everything there is to know about the game i just cant get the lav to finish the game,it is so annoying,I search all over town yesterday looking for a pc version but i cudnt find one im starting to lose harth in it.Me mate is giving me intersep tomorrow so i'll just have to be content with finishing that.

It takes time and money but i try to have all my bases with at least 2 subs and 1 strong team,with Mc lab and tran resolver,and about 2 or 3 bases with research labs,also the bases with the weakest squads i do have a few sonic def, with that the aliens will never get the better of you, all you have to do is keep making your solders stronger by using MC, just line up the aliens and shoot them down,I allways have 1 or 2 very strong solders on every team in case the s**t hits the fan,

That ould be great but i douth it would work,i captured a few deep ones and i researched the 2 of them,there is noting at all in my alien containment, :devil: i tryed everthing i have replayed the game about 10 times and i keep ending up stuck with loads of money and great solders but i cant finish it,i have only researched a live deep one thats it, i have researched all corpse's. Dont tell me there is an order to researching corpse aswell? i tink ill just get the pc version. then if i get stuck i can send the game to one of yous, the only thing is i can't find the game anywere, I don't have a credit card so i can't buy it on the internet.Dose any1 live in Dublin that has the game?
