Got and played this, finally. It's a gem. Good graphics, good music, good plot... could easily be a suspense/drama genre film. Made me want to visit Oxford sometime.
Nice feel so far. A bit more disjointed, more opportunities to screw up your strategic priorities and lose, some welcome ui improvements (the "unequip everyone not on mission" button is a lifesaver), more enemies and techs and maps ... and awarding medals to your soldiers feels good. And I'm convinced the floaters have become sneakier. Grrr.
In Arkham Horror, we've had Sister Mary come hopping out of the Abyss, with nothing more horrible happening to her there than finding money lying about. She then proceeded to close the gate there and get rid of several monsters with a tommygun. Great hilarity was had by all

Real pain when the aliens run right up to your cover and for sure and certain blows you away. (And hilarious when they miss _their_ 99% shot once in a while.)
