I fondly remember wasting months of my young life on TFTD and the only thing that really annoyed me were the shipping missions,they took forever. As I nvr played on maximum difficulty,which is why I have happy memories.

I almost die every mission as Im playing very aggresively,wereas normally I am a stealth player. Munky dude do you know of any other games like s3? Stay safe man and nvr let the b*****ds grind you down.

I agree the mission is very bad and many people quit game as it is so hard.I was very angry even after I completed it but the missions after are very good. Enjoy the game and Good luck Polska Energie!!!!!

Hi There are three mines in the narrow corridor but the first mine cannot be disarmed.One of your team must walk on it. If your engineer spots the mines,you will not be able to enter corridor. After your man has exploded the first mine,your engineer can disarm the other two. hope this helps,if not just ask and I try help you.

Dude willkomen I think i recall that mission and I did not use stealth,can you help and tell me what outstanding mission objectives remain? Sometimes you cant complete as you havnt killed everyone,sounds dumb but it happens.

Munky dude Ive been taking a break as my ass was sore from the kiking it was reciving.Also we are busy shipping gear into the UK from Poland and its hard avoiding HM customs the noisy barks. Hey when I make my first million bucks I remember you and if we get caught and I end up in the state pen I expect a postcard l8rs dude

Dude i have advises for you,you do need attack from both entrances and to do that you have to make one of your team set of the mines that guard one of the entrances.The enginner cannot disarm the first mine as he cant get close enough.Also if your engineer spots the mines you wont be able to walk on them so you will fail. Trick is to get ne1 but your enginner to walk on and hence set off the first mine and then use your engineer with a mine probe to disarm the 2 remaining mines.For this mission u need a cheap engineer but a uber scout as enemys in bomb room hard to spot.Be sure to get the dart pistol and rifle from the crate. If you do it right you can disable/kill 3 of the four bad guys in the bomb room and only have 1 bomb to disable in the 3 turns.To do this have your engineer use the mine probe. Hope this makes sence and helps I am German so sometimes have word blindness.Any probs dude post away and i will try and help.Btw this mission took me 3 nights to work out and complete.

Munky Dude I restarted at difficulty 2.31 hehehe and I am gettin wasted often,its gd though as it forces you to think up new strategies and use a bigger mix of skills. Geez its hard now,gonna go do some body armor testing (I figure 'hey wat the hell' as Im getting shot so often) PKs were tough at 1.7 but now..........ekkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!

Good call dude,once Ive completed s2 as axis I is gonna replay Sentinels as I love 'most' of the missions.If u playing @ 2.3 diffulclty I need shoot a little higher........hehehe What sort of main char did you choose and what size team do you aim to manage and what will be the mix? My advice is a team of 2 medics..............hahahahahaha only kidding Gd luck and Kill those AI sukers.

Tis me jerry,I played campaign on 1.72 as I heard many scary stories that the game is harder than a 22 year old Mike Tyson.And I didnt want to get fustrated and quit.(dont mention the UN bomb mission) I guess you still playing above 2? Or did you restart? Take it easy man,I always do when Im at work

Still doing the ol water thing as its easy money and I like the travelling around the south west of England. Drop me a line when you finish as I have some veiws on the last mission,have you done the 'defend the base' mission? It rocks!!!! Ive restarted S2 as axis forces as I didnt complete the campaign first time around,I cant believe how fast I can do the missions as it is so easy once youve played Sentinels. And no I dont play all day as I drink a lot of beer and do other stuff which I cant mention here in case 'Officer' Pete reads this thread (only jokin Pete Dude)

Gregdude to be fair in the mission briefing u r advised to hire an engineer but the whole UN mission thing made my madder than a tiger at the vets. As I said ne1 who cheated here I dont blame as its insanely hard and the missions after are like a holiday. Think I might restart on a higher diffulty lvl as I think the uber Scout,engineer and 2 snipers are doing far too well. Captns log stardate erm erm Monday I is away to play this sucker

Thx Pete dude I appreciate it,to tell you the truth I was very close to cheating but thankfully I got lucky.Also with the availability of cheats comes the urge to use them and if anyone cheated on this mission I dont blame them.It tested my faith in beer lol

Munky dude I have advices for UN mission.Buy cheap engineer and expensive scout as enemys here have a great hide skill.Definatly do lots of random encouters to get lvls and money.One entrance to the bomb lvl is mined and you can only set them off by walking on them as your engineer cant get close enough to the first mine.Its really important you keep your engineer back because if you spot them you cant then gat past them and you need to split your team so you can attack from both sides.Its really important you find the dart rifle and pistol.Hopefully when you enter the bomb room (from both sides) you can kill 3 of the 4 armoured dudes and only have to deactivate one bomb. Hope this helps it took me days playing on and off but was worth it as missions after are very good.This is not really a spoiler as this mission is insanely hard in a game that is already a challange,good luck dude let me know how you get on.

Munky dude lay off the drugs they is messin with you. I managed to finally (3.5 days) get past the UN mission and am now having the best time with the 'defend the base' mission. Geez this game is hard I bought the LZ laser gun at the base and without that I doubt I would have survived the 'get Boris' mission,just wish they had more for sale. Hope your having a cool easter and not wasting the w/e in sobriety lol

I am guessing the lack of advices is due to many ppl cheating on this mission,and then not admitting it. I care not as on day four in replay I have killed 3 and de actovated only bomb set Guess I am the better man...............
