  3. thats what i'd like to see ,too although it might be a little dificult to remove the sci-fi elements from the campaign as they are a main part of th story.so a whole new campaign would be the solution. maybe we will see one some day.

  5. you obviously want a different kind of game. look for some realtime strateggy and move on
  6. you can change wether you are allowed toe save in turn based or realtime with the editor open the dificullty you like to change and you will find something "saving allowed" and behind that may be realtime or always thats it always able to save on impossible.
  7. have you done the data source thingy described in this thread: http://s2hq.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=62? after that you will have to connect to the server . i figured it out really fast. cant explain it more detailed right now becaus i ain't at my own machine right now. hope it helps you a little bit. otherwise i will try to explain it better once i return to my pc.
  8. you can change the uniform of the hero with the editor to add helmets and such.
  9. check out the difficulty settings choose one and you will find something like "headshotshouldkill" if you enable that it should work.
  10. i did it its quite easy. you will have to change the gui interface in the mapeditor. and the perks treenodes in the data tables thats all.
  11. i suggest you leave the game db amd the other stuff where they are after building and try to run the mod then at least it worked for me like that.
  12. as someone stated befor you need to "build" the mod which opens 2 dos windows.

  14. did you use the mapedit? i did the whole thing by changing the rpgtreenodes with access.
