  1. Same They keep making ridiculous offers Anyway I now contol about 1/3 of the planet with a terraforming station in each zone , slowly closing Beastman gates. Should have some nice new research to do once I capture a beastman commander which is proving to be a hard task

  4. Well they came as a shock to me as well but the standard projectile rifles on burst mode did the trick for me.
  5. I'm going to guess you use a Medical pack of some sort on it as it was the procedure in previous UFO games , or you can kill everything on else on the map if you forgot to take a medpac (I always do :< )

  10. Well I've completed it Finally Post here if you've completed it. Your impressions. Your squad on the last missions. Your thoughts on the end video. etc #4 man squad 1 commando (katana/dual deser eagles) 1 cyborg tank with plasma shottie 1 (Medic w/ warp rifle) 1 (Psionic medic w/ warp rifle + warp medikit) Those myrm octopus were pretty nasty

  13. After destroying the wargot mothership with a team of 6 people I decided to go back to an earlier save and replay the WG Ship with just two people. Same outcome. No deaths. Destroying the support strands is far too easy as you can do it with a room full of wargots around you and complete the mission. Also slightly dissapointed that I encountered no WG Heavy Armors just wg soldiers and scouts. Gah so dull! Just waiting for my sg researches to be finished now ><

  17. Use a scout to crawl up to enemy building and sense the people inside (psionic or other eq) Attack a ground spot with your rocketman. ~1000 damage to people before they notice wtfs going on

    Mmm eh I'm not sure what you mean by use but if you mean see only what IR sees then the buttons next to the map button They work passively so to speak so you dont have to click use Probably not making much sense ^^

    Mmm I think the glossary is when you configure a new weapon is that what you mean? Like adding a under-barrel grenade launcher

Excellent advice Matryx , I use #8 for all the search and destroy missions Assessing the map to find a good ambush spot is the first thing I do in a mission then I approach it ~very~ carefully to make sure none has been set for me To draw enemies into your trap send someone light of foot with a frag grenade and throw it in the general direction of the first alien you see , this will attact a large group into your ambush Oh and just simply sitting there for 1 minute (undetected) can push up your chances of survival , I've found anyway :>

    Interesting bug I've encountered. After your first mission if you launch another mission before you meet the other factions then well , the game doesn't work You don't get your little zoom out to laputa briefing room type thing happening. Went 6 months with 2 territories and no new missions ^^
  23. Sort of Ironman style , I save everyone couple of missions just in case my computer crashes but I don't reload if people die or I screw up. If I screw up I start the game again (3rd time round now ^^)
