X-com1&2 should be set to abandonware. In this case, anyone could download it from the abandon servers. I do not know, if X-com can be found on any shelf of any shop??? I mean, there is no benefit any more coming from X-com1,2.

Modding the game...
Remember, it's only single player (at this moment), so when you finish the game for the first time, some people would think," I do not want to start it over, but let's download some missions" In this case, we can play a lot more UFO than with the raw game! For a good example, look for Neverwinter nights. They are selling the game with the SDK, because they have "forseen" the need and the popularity of the "house made" missions. I tell you, the net will be full of NVN missions.

I agree with the moral. It must be included into the game. But, to be balanced, for both sides!!! I love to see alienz running around without any weapon, sceaming... If same thing happen with my soldier, bah, that's a shame...

Can Infpgrams put licence on Geospace, or ufopedia? If the Altar guys just call them something else, it is the same? The question is: Has it been licensed, or not? It's just a magic of law manipulation.

As I could understand, you have to do everything manualy. By the way, there must be somthing AI like autoroute (to find the shortest way between two points), and hopefully, the unit-blocking-unit problem will treated the same way.

Character Development
Remember! This game is NOT developed by Microprose, it's a completly new game, even if there are some similarities. As we know, the rights of the x-com games are now at Infogrames, and I think they will not allow similar names, or whatever. I'm very suprised, that they has no problem with ALTAR yet. This is luck for us. I just hope the game will be released without any "licence" problems with Infogrames. The other thing about recruiting. The story mentioned, that most of the people are dead on earth because of the bio-shit. So recruiting will not be easy. Maybe if you find a hidden village with survivors.

Pete! If it goes like you have mentioned, we will fight agains Borgs is A.M.! In this case, it will be a very short game! They will assimilate us in a second!!! Or we have to be in allience with them as in S.T. Voyager?

I think those screenshots are coming from a contiuous demo. Even if it's just a "sit and watch" (no interaction) demo, it would be nice to hear something about that.

I hope it will not have an "END". Like Aftermath 2 Aftermath 3 some extensions for A.M. 1+2+3 'course the story will end somehow in the first part. I am interested too! :alien2:

I hope it will be something like Dungeon Siege or Baldur's Gate. Those gameplays are quite good with the pause option. Or to be close, X-com Apocalypse. I can accept this, if it will work fine. Let's not burry the gamplay before the final relesae. :devil: I just can't way for a playable demo.
