  1. yes the person has to have heavy armor because the rail is a some kind of augmentation of the armor
  2. Well im getting along with the game now and have gotten enhanced plasma rifles and so on. My problem lies in alien base missions. How the (=)#(% do you guys counter aliens using rocket lounchers and plasma guns? It's like you can take them out in 5 secs, but in that time they have fired at least once, and in a small environment like a base that can mean taking out your entire squad. I have to load and load and actually fire grenades and rockets where i know the aliens will appear instead so i don't go under
  3. if im not mistaken the damage shown is the base damage, and then you add the knowledge in the weapon and alien knowledge and so on (any1 please correct me if im wrong).

  7. i like it in close quarters like bases
  8. http://home.no.net/jlongva/squad.JPG every1 in that squad is 10+ I got 2 reserves over there, but they arn't to good. Whenever i kill an alien and it seems clear i save, whenever one i get attacked and some of my people get killed i load
  9. i got my "super sqaud" with people very good at their specifik tasks. Like i have 3 snipers that are heroic/super-heroic at marksmanship and excellent at almost everything else. A RPG guy that is super heroic in lounchers. Two rifle guys that are excellent in rifles and so on. And when I.E an alien comes with his ")(%=#)( plasma thing and kills my whole squad bcs i didn't see him soon enough or something like that i load and load
  10. hmz :/ i would have liked it better if they produced one thing each. its so silly that all 10 bases all over the world has some kind of "joint effort" to create a gun
  11. i use save load like 2 times a minuite, because i just can't afford to loose my lvl 15 guy and so on
  12. oh they do keep coming what is the thing with more bases? like having 8 engineering bases, does that mean that producing 1 item will take shorter, or is there some way that i havn't figured to produce more things at once
  13. ok here comes more :angel: do you guys use heavy armor? and how are your bases divided between egineering, millitary, research? i got 8 mill 6 research and 10 engineering

  15. ok i tried now but i just get "i can't find a way" or some other crap when i try to issue a move order on an alien. Tough there where only large alien at this particular mission, like spitters and cars. Do they have to be more human size to pick them up?
  16. well at least here the flora changes when i load a mission that is actually started, so at times trees spawn on top of a soldier, and then he can't move at all.
  17. thanks I'll try that Heh some other thing, who uses handguns and assault rifles? I've found them only to be crap. The only thing I use is snipers, advanced shotguns, and grenades/SLAW.

When in those sort of missions where you are to "recover a live speciemen" or something how do you get an unconsious alien to the green square? only thing ive managed is to kill/knock down all aliens in the area and win like that. it says that some things are to heave so u have to carry it, but i can't walk on top of an alien, and i can't see it on the ground when standing right next to it. Any tips here? Then another thing when you choose "delegate" what really happens, and what happens if u delegate to much? And why do my people spawn into trees at times when i load a forest mission?? so that he can't move at all :dontgetit: Well i think that was it, ill tell if i come up with more
