Nah, it ain't Panzer General The setting was somewhat modern, I remember you could use mortars and ships, maybe planes too. And I think it was fantasy. Another thing I remember is that the view was not straight down but at an angle... and I think one of the maps had snow or ice... Also, I don't know how old the game is, but I played this somewhere around 2006-2007

how many games have those octagons thingy system?

So there's this game I want to replay, but forgot the name of it. All I remember is that it's like a strategy war game and around everything you can move there's octagons and you can only move within those octagons and then wait for your opponent to make a move. Sort of like chess. Anyone know the game?
