Well, I'm defending my thesis this thursday and waiting for the final exam results and then I'm done for the semester. But, the faculty is far from finished, next step is master's degree in Computer Science (2 more years) And then I'm done... unless I'm crazy enough to pursue Ph.D.
Hi guys, Been really enjoying the work that has been done on TFTDextender and in the last few weeks I have had a new lease of life with TFTD. I have been working on new Alien sub designs that I hope you guys will like. I have based them on Sea creatures (as per the game) that should have been around that the time of the great cataclysm. The maps all seem to work pretty well and I have included the route files needed to work them. I haven't experienced any problems with the routes as yet, but I am sorry if there are any bugs with them; I'm not exactly sure how route files work exactly. Maybe there could be some functionality added to the extender to randomly add user made maps whilst playing the game? Giz Maps.zip
You should download the pmw133.zip file from that site, extract it's contents and then use PMWBIND.EXE on the apocalypse exe's. Easiest way would be to unzip pmw133.zip to it's own folder and copy UFO2P.EXE (cityscape) and TACP.EXE (battlescape) to this folder. Then you open a cmd window, navigate to this directory and type "PMWBIND.EXE /U TACP.EXE". This should create a file called TACP.LE I think, which you can then open using IDA. I'll take a look at the apatcher source code to see if I made a mistake, thanks for the report The intended behavior is that Y enables it, N disables it, and A (abort) leaves it as it was.
