I'm gonna make some rounds on X-COM with your mod again, Tycho. Is your OP the latest? @Elfkaa: Been watching OXC for a long time already. From what I understand it's the original game rewritten in a new language with bug fixes and mods. Can't wait for the mods. I've always wanted to see more areas to explore like deep cave systems, NYC-like cities, and anything new, also would love to hear more natural and real sounds added like amazon birds in the jungle maps or an alarm sound near a wrecked car in the city and people screaming once in awhile(like Nemesis Project but not so much like it...), mods that can change the game for better or for worse. With experimentation and patience since it'll probably take another year for greater mod varity if OXC is lucky to gain a larger community, we'll have our perfect game. As always I'll be going back to Tycho's as Elfka.

That's all right, I'm fine with vanilla. So what's going on with the next update? Can you give us a little peak on new features you're working on?

Thanks for your help, Tycho! I'm enjoying the new features I have a minor problem. I enabled HQx4 in the .INI file, started the game, and a window pops up telling me I can't play with HQx4 turned on, so it disables HQx4 and the game starts. It said something along the lines of "Cannot texture HQx4 in some low resolution. Disabling HQx4." I press continue and enjoy anyways. The res listed isn't what my Laptop is rolling with so I have no idea how to fix this. I'd love to try out HQx4 and see if it's a completely new look. Thanks for your continued support of this amazing mod Tycho!

Hi Tycho, thank you for your awesome mod! I'm back for more X-COM and I'm glad you're still updating your mod!! I'm excited to play X-COM again, but I'm curious of what I need to do about the .INI file. I'm following these instructions: http://www.ufopaedia...(1994)_Extended I'm asking because I'm at the part where I download the .INI file from here: http://www.ufopaedia...ExtendedINI.txt Instructions want me to replace the .INI file from the latest UFOLoader.zip with the .INI on that page. So I'm replacing the newest .INI file with an old .INI file from 30 August 2012? That's what the installation instructions have me doing. Please Tycho or someone help me, I want to play this right now!! I also notice the latest .INI from the UFOLoader.zip has all your latest features. Do I have to use the older .INI because the latest features are bugged? That's the only thing I can think of if that page I'm going by isn't outdated.

The units are really cool looking and the background is cartoony. Strange choices.

Looks great. the top floor looks like a break room. if you ask me, i would make it look like a big control room and nothing more. also it should only be 1 poral to get to the top, not 2, because that would say its easy access to the top and I'm sure only ranked official can go up to that area. if i was an alien, i'll make it hard for the enemy to get to the top. turn that ufo into a maze lol.

Great map. I love it!! Last week I helped my cousin install EU on his laptop... hehehehehehehehehehe... I know he's playing in Ironman mode, so if I can, I'm gonna sneak this mapset into his laptop tomorrow. I wish I can see his face when he plays it... Maybe he'll tweet about it lmao! I want that grapple gun in the original EU. Can it be done? If this game is awesome, I'd want to see the game xonverted into the original EU 2D pixel whatever you call it form Edit: That IGN host is a big dummy, hence why I don't watch IGN anymore.

You mean 2K is going to add those godawful bluemen things into XCOM EU?? Freaking damn, XC:EU talking about being loyal to the original game and they want to push you into buying the FPS too. F that S...
