Thorondor
Brain Candy's Fray should be no novelty to our visitors as we've been closely following the developments of this futuristic multiplayer simultaneous turn-based strategy offering focused on squad tactics. The game has reached Alpha build just a handful of days back and pre-ordering will grant immediate access to it, but for those of you still not quite ready to take the plunge, the above Gamers Nexus video preview and the extensive old-fashioned textual preview should help you form a fuller picture of what you'll be immersing yourself in with this "combat module cyber-environment". FullAuto
Us poor Windows XP 32 bit-ers are excluded for now! But that's a good response, posting it up, some nice clear communication is what you want from a dev team.
silencer_pl
SV will not be happy that you have to stay online to finish a fight. By the way. I could share with some one 10$ if there is promo 2 for the price of 1.
Space Voyager
SV will not be happy that you have to stay online to finish a fight.Very, very true. This makes it impossible to play for minutes at a time, meaning I'll have to skip Fray.
FullAuto
It's doing some interesting stuff with the turn-based formula: Give each member of your squad orders during the definition phase: have them shoot, move, deploy equipment, use personal bonuses or one of the powerful team bonuses. Finish the turn quickly and you gain an initiative bonus but risk misjudging the situation, or take more time to analyse the situation, which means you lose the initiative, but be quick: the clock is ticking and the phase ends automatically after a set time. Space Voyager
It sounds delicious. Really, it does. When I think about it, this could be done with play by e-mail system as well. Too bad.
FullAuto
As it's only an alpha, I think we can expect that to be added.
