A mod request

Ok gang, are we all here? Cool. Anyway, these really aren't a mod, more of tweaks I would like see. Well, some would be more tweaks than mods, but still it's all related. Here goes my wish list. I have a ton more, but this one, I'm sticking with human armor, and all weapons. But don't worry, I'm not going to forget psionics, cyborgs, etc. Just haven't gotten there quite yet.

 

First of all, what I would like is basically an all inclusive mod, but each mod be in it's own separate archive or even directory. So that people can pick and choose what they want. I want to go a little further than this. Ok, basically, not just each mod, but parts of each mod can be either added or not, depending on the gamer's mood.

 

Second, I would like to see a weapons mod. Ok, not a mod, but more of a reskin. Better models for current weapons. Additional to this, I would like to be able to change some weapons, adding some, things like that. Now, this would be a two in one thing.

 

Third, I would like to see some different armor. Well skins for armor that I can pick and choose. Additional to this, I would like to see additions to the armor. This would be the mod part. Basically, a cross between a redesign and adding to the armor. Basically, all three types would remain essentially the same. The difference though, would come in other areas. The first would be for the heavy armor to have more slots. Not everything the others can use, the heavy can. However, new technology would be needed, based off of what's already available, somewhat. One thing I would like to see for the heavy armor is something that would make it slightly lighter, without any cost to the armor's integrity. (Also, I just thought of this, training would go to help with this.) Another thing, for the heavy armor, it can be additionally modified by other modules that could help with healing the person inside, blending into, somewhat, the background, things like that. Not really make it anything better than before, but add to it. The lighter armors could have plates that could be put in for additional protection, and depending on the plate, an encumbrance penalty. Like a steel plate would protect a little more than say a Kevlar one, but it would weigh more. While a ceramic would do be lighter, wouldn't do what a steel would. Things like that.

 

Fourth additional helmet mods, and skins. I'm thinking in advance here to something else I'm going to throw out in a little bit. Here goes, for all helmets, One add on to the helmet, all helmets, is a couple of different visual aspects. Doesn't have to be all of them, but some. Another add on would be like an air pack. (There will be more on this later.). Another add on to the helmet, which there should come standard, is a range finder. i wouldn't be 100% unless used with a sniper rifle. There's more here, but nothing else is coming to mind. Also, there can be skins for this as well.

 

Fifth, explosives. I like 'em but I don't use a ton of them. So, I'm thinking of mainly some tweaks, but nothing to serious. One of thoughts, and this goes back to the helmet add on, is that smoke grenades should be able to knock out several people. Well if it's concentrated enough. Several grenades in one area would knockout a person, or several, depending on where, how many, etc. Some skins wouldn't hurt either. Also, some modifications to some of the launchers, as well. Some have been said as well in other threads.

 

Sixth, experience all around. (This would be for all things, not just humans.) The experience should not be just for either missions or kills, but for both. That is, you gain a base amount of experience for the mission, additional bonus for kills, stuns, gear captured, new tech, things like that.

 

I have more, but these are a start.

Ok, to add to the above request, I'm going to continue here.

 

For psionics, an adjustment on their armor, equipment, etc. This probably would just be adjustments, tweaks, etc. Maybe some new gear, but I can't think of anything. To help with psionics, they get a special scope that would help with their vision. I know they have something different than normal or thermal vision. (That's another thing, it's not infra red, but thermal imaging.)

 

For Cyborgs, different arms, legs, eyes, other body parts that are already in the game. These would be mainly tweaks, but here's a thought, since they are already partial mechanics themselves, I'm thinking that they could use drones already, within limits to where they are to start with. (Give them a mechanics level that is close to their level already. Not a specialty, but just an automatic addition to them. They can build it up as time goes along, and even be come specialists.)

 

I've not had drones, but what I've seen, there some good ones out there.

I wasn't calling for a request, just somethings I would like to see. However, I have found a few I like so far. I'd like to see some of these put into one package. The request parts are things I would like to see. And possibly others. The ones I use, and like, and would like to see a little more development with are the following:

Weapons Rebalance Mod

Medkits Heal Permanent Damage

Militia Mod

Large Base mod (personally would like to see even bigger land bases.)

 

Personally, the other stuff can happen, or not, but I would like to see some of what I'm requesting be done for basically everyone. I wouldn't mind helping test a mod.
