Accounting Troll
Saudi state television has announced the death of their king here. Will members of the Saudi Royal Family start a power struggle against the official successor? Will Al Qaeda manoever to take advantage of current events? And what will be the consequenses for the West?
Slaughter
According to the news the successor have been running the show for a while already with King Fahd being sick. If that is the case then I guess he is already fairly well rooted in the position, and thus things will move smooth. But with the successor being as old as he is I think we may see more trouble when he dies. Hard to know for sure though.
Accounting Troll
With an 81 year old successor, I think the Saudis are going to end up having to organise another coronation in a few months. Still, the Saudi Royal family had 16,000 members at the last count
Kernel
Well, given the fact that there's "some powerful bloke" over in North America who has close ties with the Saudi Royal family I don't think things will get out of hand. Hmm... can't remember his name right now.... something to do with "big plant"....
